I was recently asked if I only do curly hair. Short answer, absolutely not! Longer answer is about curly hair being misunderstood by many industry professionals, and I was a victim in salons growing up. As a curly girl, a professional has broken a comb in half innnn my hair. My hair has been flat ironed to make things easier. I’ve been asked to flat iron my hair before coloring appointments. I’ve had several Princess Diaries moments iykyk. While I welcome all hair types in my chair, I make it my mission to let curly girls know I understand. I allow curly girls to come as they are and never feel like they have to apologize for their hair.

The hair, the makeup, the dress, the flowers! 😍

Jessica has natural curls, but when she came in on her wedding morning, she apologized for her hair not cooperating. If you have curly hair, you already know curls can be unpredictable. No worries and no reason to be sorry! We used products and a small wand to mimic the look of her curls to perfection 🥰 I mean, how gorgeous is she?!
