3 Months Post Therapy 🌱
I became the softness God kept trying to show me.
1. i stopped demanding peace
from people who never had it.
God showed me — you can’t draw calm
from a soul still storming.

2. i let go of those
still at war with themselves.
healing asked me not to stand
in crossfire that was never mine.

3. i don’t chase clarity.
i sit with God,
and the truth rises on its own.

4. i accept the love
that arrives gently.
because softness is holy,
i’m finally treating it that way.

5. i no longer mistake
intensity for connection.
God keeps steering me toward
what feels safe, not sharp.

6. my softness became my superpower.
i became gentle in the exact way
God intended —
and that scares people
who can’t meet me there.

7. i trust my spirit
when it shifts.
i don’t wait for hurt
to confirm what God
already whispered in peace.

8. grief didn’t weaken me.
it became the doorway
where God sat beside me and
taught me how to breathe again.

9. i softened into myself.
my spiritual awakening began
when i stopped performing strength
and let God hold
the weak parts too.

10. loneliness isn’t punishment.
it’s the quiet room
where God rebuilds me
into someone unrecognizable —
even to my old self.

11. i stopped shrinking my truth.
alignment feels like freedom,
God keeps pulling me toward it.

12. i don’t tolerate misalignment
the way i used to.
not because i’m cold —
but because God won’t let me settle
for anything beneath the woman
he’s shaping.

13. i learned this:
people speak from old versions of me
because they can’t reach
where God has carried me —
and that’s okay.
i see me.
i know me.
i honor who i’m becoming
under God’s hand.

Sometimes the most beautiful moments bloom from the hardest seasons. 🌸 This weekend, in the middle of my own storm, I got to stand in a room full of light—women and teens sharing their stories, showing gratitude, uplifting one another, refusing to let pain have the last word. 🙏🏾To EVERYONE who showed up: You reminded me that community is a lifeline. To Tashi, the visionary who trusted me with this mic: Thank you for being the kind of light who gives women a chance to turn their pain into something sacred. 🕊️ This was my first speaking engagement… but God’s timing is always on time. Even now, I’m learning: Our trauma can become our message and a lesson for others. 🤞🏾Here’s to the first of many times we turn survival into strength and strength into softness—together. 💕...
