Mahogany and maple cigar humidor in progress. Lined with aromatic Spanish cedar and complete with to quality analog hygrometer and humidifier. Still a long way to go on this one to get it perfect.

Here's a reproduction of a 17th century tavern table I recently completed. While the original would have been made of ash, maple, or oak, this one is made of native Florida Sycamore.

Just completed this miniature Pennsylvania Dutch-style chest. Hand painted free-hand designs. Solid pine dovetailed case with iron strap hinges and interior till with lid. Measures 18"L x12W"x 12"H.

About this time last year, I completed a self-study project on the 17th century art of Western Lacquerwork, commonly referred to as, "Japanning". The designs and process were taken from Parker and Stalker's text, "A Treatise of Japanning and Varnishing".
