I want to take a moment to share something respectfully and professionally, especially based on conversations and things I often see on social media.

Getting your hair done is a luxury service. It’s not just about the final look it’s about the time, skill, experience, and investment that goes into delivering quality results. As professionals and entrepreneurs, we invest in ongoing education, high-quality products, tools, and creating an experience that our clients can feel confident in.

I’ve never personally run specials or been asked for discounts, but I do see the conversation come up often. And I think it’s important to put things into perspective.

When you ask a professional to discount their services, you’re essentially asking them to reduce their income.

Think about it like this: imagine going into work, completing your full eight-hour shift, and then being told by your supervisor, “We decided to discount everyone’s pay today to give a vendor a break.” That wouldn’t sit right and it shouldn’t. Because your time, effort, and skill have value.

The same applies to service-based professionals.

Pricing isn’t random it reflects years of practice, dedication, business expenses, and the level of service being provided. Respecting those prices is a way of respecting the professional behind the work.

This isn’t coming from a place of negativity just clarity and understanding. Supporting professionals means valuing what they bring to the table, just like you would expect in your own workplace.

As I prepare to add microlocs/twists to my booking link, please keep in mind that the establishment process takes a significant amount of time. To ensure quality and proper care, all microloc/twist establishment appointments will be scheduled in the morning only, and reties will not be done after 1:00 PM.

I will also be offering interlocking for traditional smaller locs.

Please note:
• A consultation is required prior to booking any microloc or interlocking service
• A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your appointment
• Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled due to the time commitment of these services

I will notify everyone once these services are officially available for booking.
