Sharing my life memories

This year my kids gave up TV for Lent. And before anyone assumes we were watching hours a day… we weren’t. We’ve always been a pretty low-screen household, and we’re no strangers to a little “TV detox” when things start creeping up. But giving it up completely? That’s a different experience. No background shows. No tv while I make dinner. No “you can watch one episode while I put the baby down.” And honestly… the difference has been kind of shocking. More creativity. More outside play. More boredom. More sibling conversations that would have been drowned out by a screen. Here’s the part that might be unpopular: Kids don’t actually need TV. Not to relax. Not to be entertained. Not to fill their time. Screens are incredibly good at convincing us they’re harmless background noise… but the second they’re gone, you realize how much space they were taking up. We didn’t expect it to feel this different. Now I’m not so sure we’ll go back the same way we were before. If the TV disappeared in your house tomorrow… what do you think would change first?

This bottle washer saved me hoursssss of washing bottles and pump parts. Absolute game changer. If you’ve been considering buying one, grab it while it’s on sale!
