It's been a minute since I've been on my page to see how everyone is doing. Although, I dont get any responses from anyone on this page, I know you are sitting here, reading this post and can relate to alot I say, and if that helps you in life, well my friend I'm doing my job right. So many people are so silent because of their addictions. Afraid to let go of what's important to them right now, to get back what is most important to them. Love. Family, life. I was recently in a position where someone very close to me offered me drugs. I knew as a recovering addict that these things will happen from time to time. You will always face addiction, every day of your life you will fight. It's up to you on how strong willed you are. I had to cut this person out of my life. Being almost 5 years clean, it scares me. I have to stay away from those toxic people, so I can have a healthy life with my children. However, if you ask me for help, I will always be your right hand man!! Just dont try and drag me down with you. I have one heart, one life, and it belongs to my 5 children who are my biggest supporters!! I thank god everyday for their forgiveness and fight to be the best mom I can be so I have a happy family. Until next time my friends.

Today I had to do one of the hardest things I've had to do in a long time. I had to get a restraining order on someone very close to our family, because he just isnt himself anymore. I've tried to help, I've made sure he never went hungry, I did his laundry, i gave him a free life by enabling him. But this person scared my kids today and I had no choice but to call the police. Seriously never cried so much in my life. But I have to do whTs right for my family.

Hello everyone! I would love if people could start opening up on this page. The more people I get to post or comment on this page, the farther across facebook it would go. Many other people who dont know about this post could get the help they need. Please! Share any information you can find in your area. For drug abuse, alcohol abuse, for ci******es, for depression. Ect. Just by posting some resources with your area could save someone's life!
Today, I got out of bed sober and continued my day sober. Almost 5 years clean!! What's your clean date??
