Archetype Group has always maintained a close relationship with the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI), acting as an active member in every country where we operate.
This partnership runs deep: our CEO and co-founder Pierre-Jean Malgouyres serves as a board member and treasurer of CCI France International, alongside President Frédéric Sanchez.
It's in this spirit that we're proud to share that Archetype Group has been shortlisted in the "Trophée Spécial du Jury" category at the CCI France International Awards 2026, which recognises French companies driving impact in international markets.
You don’t know our story yet? Have a look at our key milestones here: https://www.archetype-group.com/about-us/
For us, this nomination is a nice recognition of three things at once: our commitment to promoting French expertise abroad, our close bond with the CCI network built since our founding in Vietnam in 2002, and the success stories we've delivered along the way.

House of Archetype | Season 4 – Episode 1: Engineering Services
Constrained sites don’t limit value. They demand sharper engineering.
Brownfield projects rarely arrive clean. Space is tight. Operations keep running. Materials never stop moving. And the as-built information, above and below ground, is often outdated or incomplete.
In this episode, Bharat Sondhi, Director of Design Operations at Archetype Indonesia, and Nguyen Hong Minh, Group Civil & Structural Engineering Director at Archetype Vietnam and Archetype Group, share how we approach complex brownfield projects.
Through laser scanning, point cloud mapping, digital surveys, and proactive client discussions, our teams establish clarity early and translate operational needs into precise, practical solutions.
As Bharat explains:
“By identifying limitations early and designing creatively around them, we transform even the most constrained site into efficient and productive assets for the client.”
See how integrated design strategies unlock the full potential of industrial facilities.

🏸 Proud to celebrate our sponsored athlete, Arthur Chardain!
At the Yonex Bonn International 2026, a Future Series event and the entry level of senior international badminton, Arthur delivered a standout performance in just his first senior year.
Still competing through the qualification rounds at this stage of his career, Arthur won 3 qualifying matches to reach the main draw. From there, he kept climbing victories over players from Egypt, Taiwan, and the Netherlands, followed by a win against a French opponent in the semi-final, took him all the way to reach the final.
This level of competition features several top-200 players. That final run earned Arthur a 200-place jump in the world rankings, lifting him to No. 435 in the world.
A remarkable result for his first senior season, and a clear sign of what's ahead.
We're proud to support Arthur on his journey. 💪

Archetype Group expands into Kazakhstan, and brings back Xavier Pinchart to lead it.
We recently opened a new office in Kazakhstan, as a direct response to our clients’ demand. We are now able to support their development across the country.
The decision places our teams on the ground in one of Central Asia's most dynamic markets, able to provide full construction consultancy services for industrial, real estate and hospitality companies.
The context is favourable: Kazakhstan's economy expanded by 6.5% in 2025, marking its strongest performance since 2011, with construction among the leading sectors, growing approximately 18% year-on-year.
This growth is underpinned by a substantial pipeline of infrastructure, industrial and energy projects, positioning Kazakhstan as a market where architecture and engineering expertise's are increasingly in demand.
Leading the new office is Xavier Pinchart, who returns to Archetype Group as Managing Director. Xavier brings extensive international experience and a long-standing relationship with our group, built across successive roles in France and Thailand. As former Managing Director of Archetype Thailand, he contributed to a number of landmark projects, including the iconic MahaNakhon Tower in Bangkok.
In his new role, Xavier will be responsible for strengthening our local presence, supporting our teams, and leading the next phase of Archetype Group's growth in Central Asia.
Feel free to connect with Xavier: https://www.archetype-group.com/people/xavier-pinchart-2/
We are delighted to welcome Xavier back to Archetype Group.

Mission critical data centers: designing for long-term value
On 21 May, Marian Kusy, Regional Managing Director of Archetype Thailand, Malaysia and Bangladesh, joined the AKSA & PCS Data Center and Construction Summit 2026 for the panel discussion “Securing Long Term Value Through Mission Critical Data Centre Design.”
Moderated by Kotchakorn Sangkhawadee (Pat) from PCS, the discussion brought together Florian Blin, Claude H. Richey, Arief Herusaktiawan, and Umit Keskin to explore how data centers are no longer simply technical facilities. They are long-term infrastructure assets, where energy strategy, resilience, scalability, and speed of delivery must be considered from the earliest stage of planning and design.
The market context is promising: Thailand continues to gain momentum as a regional data center destination, with 36 project applications recorded in 2025 worth more than USD 23.1 billion.
As AI drives higher power densities and energy infrastructure becomes an increasingly critical constraint, the ability to plan, design and deliver flexible, future-ready data centers will be essential to creating long-term value.
archetype industry has been supporting this evolution for years, delivering data centers for clients such as IBM, FPT, Kominfo, and Sinet, among many others. Our experience spans multiple markets across Asia, including Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, China and Thailand.
Swipe through for some key takeaways from the discussion.
