It has been a while since I have come on here and really shared with you.
I want to start sharing more fun facts about myself and my career! .
Back in May I finally made my way to Hawaii, and it was one of my favorite experiences ever. I got on a surf board for the first time and accomplished a hike that was so daunting, it was put off until my last day before I flew back home! It had been years since I tried to take on a new physical challenge like either of those... and it’s looking back at those moments to realize that I had mistaken the definition of feeling fulfilled and complete. .
I mistook success for fulfillment, constantly seeking and searching, wondering why I still felt like I was a little bit empty. It’s because there is no such thing as enough success... If your chasing after it, you’ll never find it. Fulfillment is much more accessible, and found within yourself. A lot of times we measure our worth by success- be our careers, who we are as a person, or who we are to society. When in reality, you determine your worth, and you determine what you find to be an accomplishment and how you feel fulfilled at the end of the day.
Success is what other people think of you. Fulfillment what you think of yourself. Find fulfillment, and then success will come find you.
