Ifediora Organization

Ifediora Organization was established to promote Igbo culture and other Afro-related cultural identities. Our mission is rooted in the need to address the underrepresentation of African and Black cultures, the erosion of cultural heritage, and the persistent spread of racist tropes that misrepresent Africa and its people.

Through our social platforms, expect to be empowered by content that uplifts and authentically showcases the rich traditions, stories, and contributions of the Igbo people, other African ethnic groups, and the global Afro-descendant community — including Afro-Latinas, Black Caribbeans, African Americans, and more.

Since its inception, Ifediora has developed a number of expressions (programs) aimed at improving the community. These include a campaign to empower women and men with textured/curly hair, nutrition and wellness services, and a Christian community.

Shoutout to the males who are rejecting Western beauty standards which suggest a low-cut is the only professional look for Black men. Thank you for showcasing the beauty and versatility of afro textured hair.

We recently learned about Lamoree, who tragically took her own life after allegedly experiencing abuse in her sorority. This abuse led to an acute, severe mental illness that permanently changed her life. Her mother has been tirelessly seeking justice, but the story has been largely ignored by those in power. I am not going to rest until the members of Delta Beta (AKA)and the Alpha’s that were involved in the sexual assault and other abuse that caused my Moree her mind are held accountable. Moree had trauma induced mental illness at the hands of them. Southern Illinois University at Carbondale needs to help. All of those people involved have moved on while my daughter is in a cemetery. Some of them went back to Chicago and some are still in Carbondale. I can definitely start throwing out names and pictures. 😭😭😡. The corporate office of ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA INC will NOT respond and have been evasive from day 1!Its not their daughter who lost her mind and took her life. This has my mind racing EVERY DAY! I need help, not suggestions. PLEASE SHARE THIS OVER AND OVER. The detective went MIA on me. IM NOT GOING TO STOP I PROMISE! PLEASE GO TO MY PAGE AND SEE THE STORIES.
