I wonder, how many lifetimes have charmed me with this energy dance? Was I once plant? Or maybe element? I find hints of yes in our resonance, in the sacred articulation of our shared language. Our communion is like an ancient massage of the heart, a timeless story of our cyclical love. It is a kinship that steeps in the spiritual realm and traverses the physical, gently kissing the beings that walk upon this earth. I lovingly nod to the lineage of medicine women who came before me, divine healers who stored this wisdom in the marrow of their bones and held it there safe and sound for my earthly body to remember. Wado elohi, wado agayvli ~ thank you Mother Earth, thank you elder 🪶

I find that when I look to nature, I am no longer filled with so many unanswered questions. Rather, I am left with a rushing waterfall of wisdom that seems to transcend words. The four winds gently whisper life’s secrets in my ears, grandmother trees sway beside me in ancestral story, and the mountain creek holds my vessel, infusing minerals of memory into my tissues and bones. I give thanks to this planet for being the most nourishing home....for reminding me that no matter the uncertainty, worry, or concern that plagues the human spirit, that we too carry the knowing and magic of nature. That our light is like the sun, able to illuminate the darkest corners of the earth. Our love as gentle as the moon, able to soften the roughest terrain. May we all sink into this divine connectivity and lovingly extend the wisdom we find there, to the rest of humanity.

I went camping for the first time! I slept on the land of the Yuhaaviatam (Serrano people/ People of the Pines) near the village of Wa’peat 🏕️ Camping isn’t something many in my community have experienced so my loved ones were *understandably* nervous. I hope my reflections can inspire those who may feel hesitant to step into these spaces, to know that the earth holds space for us all & that there is so much healing and magic to be found here

In my dreams the other night, my ancestors came to me. Without speaking, they said “we walk these lands to protect them, we walk this earth to tend to her” and I woke up weeping — thank you mother, for the open pathways to our communion, for the grace you extend to the forgetful human mind, and the abundant, gentle healing you extend unconditionally from your ever-expanding heart. I’m in a constant yearning to ~be~ with you, to live in the romantic rhythm you once danced with the original peoples of the land. I find comfort in knowing I never have to look too far, as this sacred knowing, your tender love, is deep within my bones 𓂃⚘

How’s the weather been inside of you lately? We should check in on each other more often. There’s so much happening around us, too much for our fragile hearts to carry. I’m learning to meet my sadness, rage, and fear with the same love and gentleness I meet happiness and peace with. I often wish I could put the entirety of the earth and humanity into my arms. I believe there’s hope for our deep wounds, that they can be healed by beaming love directly into our core. We are only reflections of one another, one body of love, may we find our way to the source that connects us all
