1st stop of our 2026 French road trip done and we are now heading to Bergerac on the Dordogne. Here’s a little edit of our time in Saumur
Sometimes we spend so much of life rushing from one thing to the next that we forget what it feels like to stop and just be.
I created Sukha Sanctuary as a place where you can slow down, soften the shoulders, take a deep breath and let everything else wait for a little while.
Whether you’ve had a busy week, you’re carrying a lot, or you simply want an hour that’s just for you, you’ll be warmly welcomed here.
✨ Weekly Sound Baths
🕚 Tuesdays 11am
🌙 Wednesdays 7pm
Small, cosy groups in my peaceful countryside studio.
Whatever you choose to do in this life… let it bring you peace.
There’s something truly special that happens when women come together 🤎
A day filled with love, laughter, connection and yes… a little bit of silliness too.
We shared nourishing food, moved our bodies through yoga, had meaningful conversations, laughed until our cheeks hurt, and ended the day wrapped in the soothing sounds of a sound bath.
The older I get, the more I realise that wellbeing isn’t just about quiet moments and meditation. It’s also about joy. Friendship. Feeling seen. Being yourself without judgement.
The energy in the room yesterday was something really special.
Thank you to everyone who shared the day and made it what it was. ✨
When women gather, something magical happens.

A gentle reminder for the week ahead 🤎
Life has a way of filling every available space.
Sometimes we don’t realise how much we’re carrying until we give ourselves permission to put it down for a little while.
This week at Sukha, you’re invited to do just that.

A little introduction for those who are new here… 🧡
I’m Michele, the woman behind Sukha.
I’m a sound bath facilitator, nature lover, interiors enthusiast, wife to Sam, mum of three grown-up children, Great Dane mum and soon-to-be nanna☺️
When I’m not holding sound baths, you’ll usually find me at home wrestling a giant Great Dane puppy, rearranging cushions and throws for the hundredth time, or dreaming up new ideas for Sukha.
I’ve always loved creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming and comfortable, which is why creating the Sukha Sanctuary felt so important to me.
I wanted it to feel less like a wellness venue and more like stepping into a cosy, peaceful retreat.
The comments I hear most often are:
✨ “It’s like a little cocoon.”
✨ “I feel held here.”
✨ “I don’t ever want to leave.”
✨ “It’s so cosy and welcoming.”
That means more to me than you’ll ever know.
Sukha began with sound baths, but it’s slowly growing into something bigger — a place for rest, connection and wellbeing.
A place where people can pause, exhale and reconnect with themselves for a little while.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this little community 🧡
I’d love to know…
Have we met in person yet, or are you following along from afar?
Take a little peek inside Sukha Sanctuary ✨
From the location, the soft glow of the lights, the duvets, pillows and calming aromas, every detail has been chosen with intention … to help you slow down, soften and rest.
Life can feel busy, noisy and demanding. I created Sukha as a gentle reminder that rest is productive too.
Whether you join me for a sound bath, a Sukha Circle, a private session or simply come for a moment of stillness, you’ll always be welcomed exactly as you are.
Give yourself permission to pause … your nervous system will thank you 🧡

Why Sukha?
When I chose the name Sukha, I was drawn to the feeling it evokes : happiness, ease, joy, bliss.
A sense of being at peace.
Recently, I learned that the Sanskrit roots of the word are often translated as Su = good and Kha = space. A good space. Sukha represents an authentic, lasting state of well-being.
And it stopped me in my tracks.
Because over the past month, as this little sanctuary has taken shape, the feedback I hear time and time again from visitors is:
“It’s like a little cocoon.”
“I feel held here.”
“I don’t ever want to leave.”
“Can we stay the night?”
“It’s so cosy and welcoming.”
What started as a name chosen for a feeling has gradually become something more tangible.
Not just sound baths, but a space where people come to rest, reconnect and simply be.
A good space.
A place to pause.
A place to rest.
A place to reconnect with yourself for a little while.
And perhaps that’s what Sukha was always meant to be.

If someone gave you a free hour tomorrow, how would you spend it?
I’d really love to know.
So often we move from one thing to the next, taking care of everyone else, and forget to ask ourselves what we need.
Creating Sukha was about offering a space where people can pause for a little while and simply rest.
A cosy room.
Soft lighting.
Gentle sounds.
No pressure to do anything.
Just an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
