Bright buttery blonde to beat those Monday blues! This beautiful clients first time in the salon and wasn’t quite sure where to go with her colour but I think we both agree blondes do have more fun.

Many people have been coming in complaining of a dry scalp (I myself have also been victim to the winter chill on my scalp) so here are some tips to help:

1. Use cooler water when in the shower (this is probably the hardest one for me) but excessive steam can dry out your skin quickly.

2. Try and gentle dandruff shampoo such as the Purifying Shampoo.

3. Wash your hair less, preferably 1-2 a week is ideal.

4. Stay hydrated! I always find this harder in winter as we all want something warm but don’t neglect good old H2O.

5. Avoid steam and/or sauna’s as these draw a lot of moisture from the skin.

6. Always use sulphate free and paraben free products as many cheaper products contain irritants.

7. DO NOT ITCH! I know it’s hard but this aggravates the skin more, try using a soothing shampoo such Davines Calming shampoo.
