A Love Letter 💌

Sometimes all it takes is one kind word.

I received this comment from one of my readers a few days ago, and I can’t fully explain how deeply it reached in and hugged my heart.

It felt like a quiet nudge to keep going.

A reminder that maybe… just maybe… I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to be doing, exactly when I’m supposed to be doing it.

So today, I’d like to pass that encouragement on to you.

Don’t be afraid.

Stop trying to create like someone else.

Stop sanding off the interesting parts of yourself.

Stop worrying if your art is too weird, too different, or too much.

Just do the thing.

Create the art.

Write the story.

Paint the picture.

Record the song.

Start the podcast.

Whatever has been quietly tugging at your heart…

Go meet it.

You never know whose life it might touch.

And while you’re at it…

Encourage the people around you.

You have no idea what a thoughtful comment, a genuine compliment, or a few words of encouragement can do for someone who’s wondering if they should keep going.

Sometimes the smallest kindness becomes the biggest turning point. 💗

My makeup artist self came out and had her way with me. I took my time today. 😊👩‍🎨🎨💄

I figured why not pair that up with a sundress along with my Thanos/ Game of Thrones looking necklace.
It’s one of my fave. 🤗

Today was the Summer Solstice.
I cannot think of a better photo to capture the essence and energy that I am living in right now.

About Last Night… 🌎⚽✨

My friends have been trying to get me out of the house for a while now.

I finally took them up on it.

With our city hosting the World Cup and England playing (and winning 🏴), it felt like the perfect night to say yes.

For someone who has spent a good amount of time rolling her eyes at the dating pool, it opened my eyes to something else entirely:

Possibility.

The writer, the podcaster, and the curious human in me found absolute heaven.

The conversations I had.
The questions I asked.
The stories I heard.

What struck me most was how similar we all are.

Despite the accents, passports, and thousands of miles between us, we all want many of the same things:

Connection.
Community.
A good story.
A reason to celebrate.

I walked away from the evening feeling like we’re much closer to “One World” than some would ever want us to believe.

My new British, Australian, Croatian, Norwegian, and Japanese friends were all boarding flights home today. Many promised they’d be listening to Think Piece on the journey.

That’s pretty f*cking magical. ✨

It’s a small world after all.
