in South Africa. In 2002 Marius Bosman became the very first
South African to receive a bursary through the
International Association of Professional Piercers
to attend a Piercing seminar in Amsterdam,
where he achieved the status of “Master Piercer”
During this time he also spend a lot of time with
European extreme performing artist “Ginge”, who
taught Marius the extreme art of “Human Suspension”,
Implants and various other forms of Extreme Body
Modification. On his return to South Africa, Marius hosted the first
live Human Body Suspension on TV as part of the
very popular Tv Show - “Free Spirit”
Marius Bosman has certainly become a
household name in the Tattoo and Piercing Industry
in South Africa and still continues every day to
promote safe and sterile tattoo conditions, new
tattoo styles and methods and advancing the
Tattoo and Piercing trade in any way
possible to him.
