"THE BASICS"
Duration: 2 hours
Conference-style workshop where the students watch a demonstration on a model. Practical session where the students learn how to blend a smokey eye. Topics covered:
Priming, Foundation, Concealing, Correcting, Basic Highlightin
g and Contouring, 2 ways to blend a smokey eye. Includes a mini brush kit. Price: R600pp

"BEAUTY BOOTCAMP"
Duration: 5 hours
Hands-on, interactive workshop where the students learn the following topics in detail and get to practice each topic on themselves:
Topics covered: Finding the correct foundation colour, concealing and correcting, powder, blush, cream/powder contouring, cream/ powder highlighting, winged liner, blending smokey eyes, brows, lips. Includes 6 pc brush kit & light lunch. Price: R1200pp, R600 deposit to secure seat. Only 6 students per class. Next date: 10 April and 22 May. Full day session: 11am - 4pm. "ALL ABOUT EYES"

Topics covered: Your eyeshape, how to disguise dark circles, how to pop your eye colour, day eye makeup, night eye makeup, blending smokey eye, false lash application, winged liner for your eye shape. Includes eye brush kit and false lashes. Price: R750pp

THE TEAM:
Tharwat has over 10 years of makeup experience working for big houses like MAC and Clinique. She has an impressive line of fashion shows under her belt including Mercedes Benz Fashion Weeks. Tharwat has a natural flair and steady hand for makeup. Her friendly demeanour, perfectionist personality and strong background in retail, sales and customer service makes her the perfect teacher to every woman of every skin colour. Tharwat is an avid hiker in her spare time. Razana comes from a corporate background and has been pursuing her makeup career on a part-time basis for the last 3 years; whilst finishing her commerce degree. Her speciality is bridal makeup but she also dabbles in fashion and beauty when she has the time. Razana has also studied hairstyling and fashion styling, and plans to combine all of her qualifications to take her makeup career to new levels. She loves to spend time with her girlfriends, run, watch youtube and seek out adrenalin-filled activities. Tharwat and Razana both love to teach and have a joint vision and passion for sharing their makeup knowledge with as many women as possible. Rizqua Barnes Richards (better known as Riz B Photography) is one of Cape Town's most influential and creative photographers. Her speciality is weddings, but she also covers events, fashion, beauty and other projects. Due to her sound knowledge and wisdom, Rizqua joins Makeup101 in the capacity of Photographer, Designer and Brand Manager. Rizqua knows exactly what she wants and how she wants it. In her spare time she loves rollerblading and photographing her toddler.
