Here are some random hand cut paper patterns. Just playing around, not making anything specific. Just switching the mind off from the work day.

Take flight!

Paper Art Installation I did for an office building a few years ago. Back then, I was always trying to go big—a huge contrast to my current love for seeing how small and intricate I can go with my art. 

Take a drive this weekend to the beautiful Harold Porter Botanical Gardens in Betty's Bay. A few of my art pieces will also be on display. All art at exhibition will be for sale.

Butterfly Simplicity.

Doing symmetrical art is a very draining experience for me. I much prefer making free form pieces.
That said, I am always so happy with the end result of my butterflies.

TO FRAME OR NOT TO FRAME?
This one is not getting framed.

My art form is a really slow, methodical process, taking days or weeks to make up enough paper elements to create one art piece.

Earlier this year I decided that I will start selling prints of my art. I started playing with temporary art pieces, that get loose packed and professionally photographed to use as a print only. Then the loose elements can be reworked into a new art piece.

My online store selling both original framed art pieces and prints, will be live soon.
