💫 My Business Journey – By Nozipho, Founder of Nozypo Store

My journey began in 2017, when I started selling Avon products. I loved connecting with people and helping them feel confident, but it wasn’t always easy. The commission structure made it hard to earn well, and selling to colleagues sometimes led to delays in payments. Still, I kept my dream alive — I knew I was meant for more.

Then, in 2023, everything changed. While scrolling on Facebook, I came across a Yaga advertisement. I checked the reviews on Google, and they were really good. What impressed me most was Yaga’s secure payment system — they collect the money from the buyer and only release it once the order is received. That gave me confidence to sign up immediately.

That same day, I listed five products, and the very next morning I received a notification — my first sale! 🎉 I’ll never forget that moment — it was a pink dress ordered by a customer in the Free State, while I was in KwaZulu-Natal. That moment proved that my dream was possible, and from there, I never looked back.

I quickly learned that selling to strangers is better than selling to friends or family — strangers respect your business, pay on time, and help you grow.

In 2025, I joined Makro Marketplace, and that opened even more doors. I love how Makro handles marketing and promotion, allowing me to focus on listing great products and serving my customers. I started with one sale per day, but now I’m making five or more daily — and I couldn’t be more proud! 🙌

Through consistency, faith, and hard work, Nozypo Store has grown into a trusted brand known for affordable and reliable products.
