Earlier this year I had the privilege of doing makeup on this beautifully talented plastic & reconstructive surgeon, Dr Isabel do Vale. The makeup was for the filming of various social media clips called "Weekly Q & A with Dr do Vale"

A previous PMU Brow Procedure carried out at another salon resulted in my client feeling self-conscious & unhappy. I was confident in my skill that I would be able to correct them for her as best I could - I remapped her brows back into their most ideal position on her face. Also adjusted their volume back their orginal fullness. I combined blading and shading and I'm impressed and more importantly so is my cient. It is a work in progress but with her touch-up in 6 weeks, they will be perfect!

I stumbled across this picture taken of a young Sophia Loren. Her beauty is breathtaking, even still today - but I just love everything about this picture that says there are no rules when it comes to makeup (or there are but treat them as a word of caution, LOL) 'A strong eyeshadow look should be paired with a softer lip to balance the look' DOES NOT APPLY HERE - smokey eyes, bold full brows and a popping lip...

Had the privilege of meeting Rae when she came to South Africa to do a Masterclass. I learnt SO much from her espcially 'How to Look 10 Years Younger'

Why? Because besides her eye for artistry, Rae is an advisor to surgeons and cosmetic physicians in Australia on the art of making faces beautiful. She explains how facial features and structure can be tweaked with the correct placement of makeup to deliver astonishing results can make you look more youthful.
