Perimenopause changes the way your body handles stress.
When estrogen and progesterone drop, cortisol can feel louder and suddenly you feel wired, tired, emotional and overwhelmed.
This isn’t weakness. It’s biology.
Support your stress response daily with Gfrag® Cortisol Support.

💡 AGEING FACT SERIES – AGEING IS NOT JUST TIME, IT’S WEAR
Two people can be the same age…
but their bodies can age very differently.
Why? Because biological ageing is influenced by what your body has been through:
⚠️ Stress
⚠️ Poor sleep
⚠️ Inflammation
⚠️ Hormonal changes
⚠️ Low protein intake
⚠️ Lack of movement
⚠️ Poor repair and recovery
Your chronological age is just the number of years you’ve lived.
But your biological age tells a deeper story - how well your body repairs, recovers and maintains structure.
And this is why lifestyle matters so much.
💥 Anti-ageing is not just about “looking younger.”
It’s about supporting your body’s ability to stay strong, resilient and well-supported from the inside.
That’s where collagen support becomes part of the bigger picture.

Most probably the best article I've found on this 👇
Can I ruin one of the biggest misconceptions about retatrutide real quick?
If all you know is "it helps people lose weight," you're missing the actual conversation researchers are having.
Now don't hear what I'm not saying the weight loss is real, it's measurable, you can see it in the mirror. That's naturally what grabs everybody's attention. But the more I've dug into the research these past few months, the more I'm convinced weight loss might end up being the smallest chapter in this story.
What actually caught my attention wasn't another before-and-after photo. It was reading the clinical studies and realizing the researchers weren't just high-fiving over the scale numbers. They were asking a bigger question: what happens when your whole metabolic system starts talking to itself the way it was built to?
That's where this gets interesting.
Most weight loss meds you've heard of work through one pathway. Retatrutide hits three at once GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. I know, sounds like alphabet soup. But think of it like your body running three different departments that normally barely talk to each other blood sugar, fat burning, and appetite and suddenly they're all on the same group text. That's why the Phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine got researchers so fired up. They weren't just watching people eat less. They were watching improvement across the board blood sugar, insulin sensitivity, energy use, all of it moving together.
Study:
https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2301972
Then I got to the liver research, and that's where I had to stop and reread it twice.
Most of us grew up thinking the liver's whole job is "filtering toxins." That's true, but it's like saying a mechanic's whole job is changing oil. Your liver's running blood sugar regulation, fat processing, protein production, cholesterol, hormone metabolism it is genuinely one of the busiest employees in your body, and it never asks for a raise.
So when researchers looked at retatrutide in people with fatty liver disease, they weren't just asking "will they lose weight." They wanted to know if we fix the metabolism, does the liver actually clear out?
The results were wild. Using MRI scans, people on the higher doses saw more than an 80% relative drop in liver fat after 24 weeks, and a lot of them no longer even showed up as having fatty liver on the scan. Now I want to be careful here, because accuracy matters to me. That's not the same as saying liver damage gets reversed or scarring disappears. Researchers are still chasing that question. But an 80% drop in fat on one of your body's most important organs? That'll make anybody pay attention.
Study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38858523/
And the deeper I got into this, the more I realized this was never really a fat conversation. It's a metabolism conversation.
Take insulin. Say that word and everybody's brain jumps straight to diabetes. But insulin's really more like the foreman on a construction site it's the one telling your cells "hey, sugar's here, come get it and put it to use." When cells stop listening to the foreman, everything backs up. Blood sugar gets harder to manage, energy production gets sloppy, fat storage gets easier, inflammation shows up uninvited. So when researchers see insulin sensitivity improving, they're not celebrating one number on a lab report. They're watching the whole communication system start working again.
Then I ran into something I wasn't expecting at all the brain.
We've known for a while that GLP-1 affects appetite. But scientists are now finding those same pathways touch the parts of the brain tied to motivation, reward, and dopamine. Which is why some researchers are asking whether this class of medication might have a reach beyond just weight.
Before somebody screenshots this and runs to the comments... 😂 no I am not saying retatrutide cures addiction. It's not approved for that, and we need a lot more research before anyone makes that claim. What I am saying is early studies on GLP-1 therapies have shown some people drinking less alcohol and reporting fewer cravings. That's enough to make researchers keep digging, and honestly, it's enough to make me keep reading.
NIH summary:
https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/glp-1-plus-therapy-can-reduce-heavy-drinking
Here's the thing that keeps hitting me the more I study this your body was never built to run in silos.
Your gut's talking to your brain. Your brain's talking to your hormones. Your hormones are talking to your liver. Your liver's talking to your blood sugar. It's all one conversation, not five separate departments filing separate reports. That's probably why something like retatrutide has grabbed so much attention. The real question isn't "can people lose weight." It's "what happens when we help the whole system start talking to itself again."
Now here's where I always land, and it's not a disclaimer I'm tacking on at the end it's just true.
I didn't come to peptides looking for a new god. I've already got One, and He's not competing with anything in a vial.
I think about Luke a lot in this. Dude wrote a Gospel and half of Acts, and he was also a physician a guy who spent his days studying the body God made. He never treated that like it was in tension with his faith. It was part of it. So when I sit here reading a study about liver fat or insulin pathways, I'm not stepping outside of what I believe. I'm looking at the fine print God wrote into how He built us, and honestly, it makes me trust Him more, not less. Jesus is still the One who actually heals I've watched Him do things no peptide ever will. But I don't think He's threatened by a chemistry degree.
Maybe in ten years we look back and realize weight loss was never the real story here. Maybe it was just the first thing anybody noticed.
Got questions about retatrutide, peptides, or the research behind it DM me. I actually enjoy these conversations, and if I can save you from wading through a few hundred pages of journal articles, I'm happy to do it.
I've got you.
