In order to provide good customer service we try by all means to engage with our customers. This helps us better understand how we can improve on our service delivery and also get a better understanding on what the customer are fond of the most. We conducted micro interviews with some of our customers to get better a view of their perception of our business. We asked them to let us know how they feel about our service delivery, and what they think we should improve on & this is what they had to say.

Starting a business always has its pros and cons, and in our case was finding a supplier for hairpiece, party packs and also nail tech equipment. When national disaster hit our country it became hard to find a supplier for the business due to our previous supplier abandoning us because of certain problems they encountered on their side. For an entire month the business was not oparating due to that factor.
At first it seemed as though that was it for the business. But due to her relentless devotion to her business she continued buying equipment and working hard to find a supplier for her business but it proved to be more costing that she anticipated. That was until she got a job offer and started using her salary to fund her business. This was more efficient and also helped her come to a realization that she does not need to wait for a supplier but rather she can find her business until it starts generating enough capital to run its self.
When our CEO first started the business it was a means of making capital because she had just graduated and was struggling to find a job not realizing that she would fall in love with business the way she has.By the time she finally got a job offer for the job she was looking for, the business had already been established and she had fallen in love with Roan&sheen so she decided to tackle both opportunities and not let one slide. The dilemma now was balancing her time for her job and also her business.
First she decided on finding a mentor who would help her prepare for the challenge ahead. She constantly worried about how she would manage both the business and her new job. But due to the flexibility of her job she was able to work from home during most of the week days. This eventually allowed her to draft a work schedule that helped her manage her time for work and aslo growing her business.
Because her job was in jhb and she resided in venda it forced her to move. Now because she had already come to the conclusion that she will continue building her business on the side, she now had a new challenge of establishing herself and her business in a new environment. Finding customers proved to be quite difficult especially because there where already multiple competitions in her new environment.
It's always hard settling in a new environment but not for our CEO she pushed ahead and knocked on every single door that related to what she aimed to achieve. Instead of giving up and folding due to the competition she decided it would be best to use the very same competition to get a better understanding of her new environment and aslo established a relationship with other business owners around her.

Our business was founded in 2019 & in that time we operated through house calls. The name of the business (Roan&sheen) was created form using both the middle names of Sheena and her first born Roana who happends to be her biggest inspiration.
