This vivid picture of a carousel came to my mind with the following scripture: Romans 12:2

I saw the endless cycles that I got trapped in, and almost all of them, I can confirm, started in my mind, my thoughts, my inner dialogue. It wasn’t simply a wrong way of thinking or a bad attitude. It was habitual. We can be dressed up all pretty but going nowhere. Going round and round in circles. Firstly we need to recognise that this is a problem. Secondly, we need to want to change. Then, we need to seek a solution.

And this is the complete picture in Romans 12:2
Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

We need to be set free from our merry-go-round way of thinking to having the mind of Christ.
I Corinthians 2:16
For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

I Corinthians 12 ends like this:
Verse 31
But earnestly desire the best gifts. *And yet I show you a more excellent way.*
God wants to show us a better way of living!

Prophetic connotation: Preparation / "Death to self "/ Pleasant aroma before God
Myrrh in the Bible comes from the Hebrew word "Mar" meaning bitter. It has a pleasant smell and represent the sweet aroma to the Lord, also the sweet smell of the Bridegroom (Jesus: Psalm 45)

We first read of myrrh in Genesis 37:25 It is mentioned for the first time in the Bible in Exodus 30 as a component of the Holy anointing oil.
Myrrh was very popular (and still is) with perfumers, because it is a fixative that brings out the flavor and strength of other oils and acts as a preservative.
It is also one of the three gifts that Jesus received after his birth from the Magi.

Myrrh's bitter meaning is symbolic of Jesus' bitter death on the cross, His suffering in our place.
Well known perfumes today containing myrrh include: "O***m" by Yves Saint Laurent and "Mesmerize" by Avon
As perfume we read about it in the Bible: Esther 2:12 (NKJV) Each young woman’s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months’ preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women.
Other references to Myrrh:
Psalm 45:8 All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.
Proverbs 7:17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
Song of Solomon 1:13 My beloved one is a sachet of myrrh lying between my breasts.
It is part of the gifts brought to Jesus by the wise men of the East.
Matthew 2:11 (NKJV) And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
The most well known of the Myrrh species is the Commiphora Myrrha tree that grows in the Arab countries. The tree has delicate leaves with strong branches with small thorns similar to the thorns on a pomegranate tree. During antiquity in the history of the Arab and Israeli countries it was as expensive as gold. The myrrh tree's size ranges from a few centimeters and 3 meters tall. The tree is wounded the juice becomes gum when dry and harvested.

Myrrh represents the bitter suffering of Jesus.
Mark 15:23 (NKJV) Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it.
Jesus, thanks to, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, had a funeral becoming a king. The tomb the rich man gave Jesus was a new tomb, which were used normally reserved for the very rich or for Kings. In John we read that Nicodemus brought myrrh and Aloes (Sandalwood) , 100 Roman pounds, about 33kg to wrap Jesus with, the amount used was only meant for the richest of rich and Kings. Normally less than a pound was used.

The therapeutic value of myrrh is that it fights inflammation, is anti-bacterial and improves your immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells. It helps in the treatment of sores, asthma, stretch marks, eczema, athlete's foot, dry skin, wrinkles, mouth infections, sore throats and fight the buildup of acids in your body. It is a natural painkiller and can be used to relieve pain in the case of muscular pain, rheumatism and arthritis. Aromatic it is beneficial by calming you. It can stimulate your creativity, your powers of observation improves. It can be used to bring forward suppressed emotions. It fights feelings of fear and terror.

Do not use during pregnancy. It is toxic in high dosages.

So some of you were asking, are all the oils the same?
No, the personalized Anointing oils are unique, each one is made specifically for its recipient. Currently I am mixing with just over 40 different essential oils, meaning if I just do combinations of 2 oils at a time, it gives you 780x different 2-oil combinations.
If you use 3-oil combinations, it gives you 9880x possible variants! How cool is that? Now, factor in, that it also depends on how much of which oil is used and the total variation simply becomes ginormous! Glory to God, this is all very exciting!

Profetiese betekenis: Reinheid en interesessie
Frankincense (Olibanum) in die Bybel kom van die Hebreeuse woord “Lebonah” wat wit beteken. Dit was ingevoer van Arabië maar het ook gegroei in Palestina. Dit is ook deel van die Heilige Parfuum, (Heilige Wierook) in Eksodus 30:34, waar ons die eerste keer van Frankincense lees. Wanneer dit gebrand het, het die ’n aangename geur afgegee en dit het ’n simbool geword van God en Sy Heiligheid.
Mal 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, my name is great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense is offered unto my name, and a clean offering; for my name is great among the Gentiles, said the LORD of the hosts.
Wanneer Frankincense brand, gee dit ’n wit rook af wat na die hemele opgaan, daarom is dit ook die simbool van reinheid, gebed en intersessie.
Psalm 142:2 May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
Luke 1:10 And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside.
Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four animals and the twenty-four elders fell on their faces before the Lamb, each one of them having harps, and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayer

Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense of the prayers of all the saints, that he should offer upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

Dit was ook een van die drie geskenke wat Jesus na Sy geboorte van die Wyse manne ontvang het. Dit was simbolies van Jesus se gewilligheid om ter will van ons ’n Heilige Offer te wees en dat Hy vir ons intree in die Hemel.

Romans 8:34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

Die terapeutiese waarde van Frankincense is dat dit strelend en kalmerend op die mens se liggaam en gemoed is. Dit maak jou longe oop en help met asemhaling. Frankincense beveg infeksie, gee jou immuunstelsel ’n hupstoot en is anti-inflammatories. Dit is baie goed vir jou vel en help teen die vorm van letsels. Dit help met gebarste vel en kan ook gebruik word om bedsere te dokter. Daar word tans nagevors oor hoe Frankincense gebruik kan word om kanker te beveg. Daar is meer as een soort Frankincense en hoewel almal tekens toon dat hulle kankerselle van gewone selle kan onderskei, is die medici nog nie oortuig van die waarde daarvan om kanker te behandel nie en hulle navorsing duur voort.
