Our course can help you develop the skills, the theoretical knowledge and build the competencies to work as a family mental health therapist,( counsellor) or in a helping role. Allowing you to support others in their emotional and mental wellbeing.
Our training approach is supportive and hands-on creating an environment where you will feel safe to grow in your self awareness, where you can learn and can apply the skills and competencies required.
We value each student as an individual and will work to understand how you best learn and support you in your unique journey to becoming a counsellor.

Established in 2010, SPANS is one of the leading therapeutic private voluntary organisations in Zimbabwe. SPANS provides education, ongoing supportive family therapy and psychological support services to the entire community. SPANS supports antenatal and perinatal nutrition as well as postnatal care to promote good mental health care across the life cycle.
