I am on Vacation 🤎

After a very hectic few months my family and I are off for a little holiday in Cyprus and back to the UK to meet my new baby Niece and spend time with our family and friends.

Buisness has been booming so thank you to all my wonderful clients old and new especially in the last few months that have been quite difficult personally.

I am on vacation until the 1st August. My August diary is open and I will be available on WhatsApp or DM to take bookings I might just take a little longer then usual to get back to you but I will still be checking in!

The basics ✨

Make sure you are getting the longest time out of your tan with these basic steps.

🤎Hot water will open your pores and therefore cause your tan to fade faster. Luke warm water for the win!

🤎Pat dry when you get out of every shower, rubbing will effectively be like exfoliating the skin and remove your tan.

🤎 Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise keep your skin hydrated and the dry dead skin cells at bay this will help your tan to also fade more evenly.

FACT - Every outfit looks better with a tan 🤎

I think nearly every single client I have has told me how their tan gave them the confidence to put on the bikini, wear the shorts, a particular colour, style, item of clothing that they would not have worn before.

It’s sounds cliche but a tan is so much more then a bit of colour it is confidence applied to your skin allowing you to wear the dress the bikini the shorts!

If your tan is fading quickly or blotchy then here are some of the reasons why!

Dry skin sheds faster then hydrated skin which is why it is so important to moisturise daily after your tan with a water based moisturiser.

Pressing too hard whilst shaving also removes the top layer of skin so please go gently to preserve your tan.

Prep to your skin before your appointment is key to your tan lasting. Detailed prep info is messaged to you before your appointment if you follow this your tan will be a dream!

Soaking of any kind will fade your tan prematurely but especially in chlorine or hot water so sauna’s and swimming pools should be used for short periods of time followed by pat drying.

This is a super busy time so don’t forget to book in advance for your vacation glow.

Tanning Tip Tuesday 🤎

Ladies this one is a game changer and one my clients have found really useful.

On the day of your tan your skin should be completely clear of any product including deodrant and perfume.

These products react with the tan and turns the area green during development time.

If you have a busy day planned or at work on the day of your appointment then apply the (aerosol) deodrant to the outside of your clothes to avoid contact with the skin and any unwanted odours!
