When to Refill Eyelash Extensions? 🌟

Remember, just like nails, your natural lashes grow, and this means that your set will start to look less full over the weeks. 👀

After 2 – 3 weeks you will require a maintenance appointment, if you wish to keep them looking their best. You will see your eyelash extensions naturally shedding daily, so do not be alarmed as this is perfectly normal. Your natural eyelashes do this every day, but you just cannot see them.

📍Clients returning for infills must return with at least 50% of their set remaining, otherwise this will be classed as a full set.
At refill we remove extensions that have grown out and twisted, and replace those extensions that have naturally shed with your natural lashes.

Humans shed approximately 3-5 natural eyelashes per upper lid, per eye, per day (lets average this at 4 per day), and your therapist will apply approximately 130-180 extensions to the suitable natural lashes of each eye, therefore you will see the following general loss patterns:
- After 7 days you will lose 28 extensions
- After 14 days you will lose 56 extensions
- After 21 days you will lose 84 extensions

Therefore after 3 weeks you may have lost over half your set.
NB: It is normal to lose up to 5 extensions per eye within the first 24 hours, do not worry.🤗

Summer Lash Tips 🏖

- Ocean water may cause your lashes to stick together. Be sure to shower and gently cleanse your lashes afterwords. 🌊

- Chlorine reacts with the extention adhesive and makes it very dry and brittle leading your lashes to just flake off. We recommend using googgles of you can, if not cleanse your lashes as soon as you're done from the pool to remove the chlorine and lengthen the the life of your lashes. 💦

- Steam from hot tubs can weaken the adhesive, try not too soak for too long. 🛁

- When you get out of the water dab the eyelashes dry, do not rub them. 🧤

➡️ Looking down, support underneath your lashes with your pointer finger. Then gently twirl the spoolie on the top side of your lashes (the opposite of how you’d apply mascara, brushing that way will tug at the hair).
