Once a staple in traditional skincare, tallow is making a well-deserved comeback—known for its ability to moisturize, protect, and restore the skin. Rich in essential fatty acids, it locks in moisture, reduces dryness, and supports skin regeneration.

But we don’t stop there. We blend tallow with carefully chosen natural ingredients that each serve a purpose:

Unlike liquid alternatives, our bars don’t need preservatives to stay fresh—because we don’t use any.
The truth is:

- Liquid soaps and shampoos require preservatives to prevent spoilage.
- The longer they’re meant to last, the more additives they need.

At The Tallow Bias, we skip all that. Our solid bars are 100% natural, free from synthetic stabilizers, and made to last:

Soap bars: ~3–4 weeks of daily use
Shampoo bars: ~25–40 washes depending on hair length & storage

Store them right (dry and elevated), and they’ll keep doing the job—without the bottle, and without the BS.

Not quite—and here’s why.

While our formulas are gentle and made with natural, nourishing ingredients, no handmade soap or shampoo is truly “tearless.”

Why? Because most commercial “tear-free” products use nerve-numbing agents to suppress irritation—not something we’ll ever use.

If a bit gets in the eyes, don’t worry. It may sting slightly, but it won’t cause harm. Just rinse with tepid water and carry on.
