Hi Ladies, continuing my review of anti-aging Dior skincare, today's topic: hydration and serums!

1. Capture Totale C.E.L.L. Energy Super Potent Serum. Total Age-Defying Intense Serum, 30ml

Purpose: complex anti-aging serum based on stem cells.

Texture: pearl color gel

Action: It's really AWESOME, I feel the effect immediately. The skin is so much smoother! It works well on flabby skin, it tightens the skin up somehow. I use it on the neck and lower part of the face. You can apply more on the neck. I really feel the worse the condition of my skin the better it works.

Ranking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2. Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Rich Texture, 60ml

Purpose: nutrition, softening, moisturizing

Texture: rich creamy oil of light pink color

Action: Nutrition, hydration, and softening are all there. Despite the texture, the cream is absorbed, not immediately, after two hours. It feel that the effect is more visible on 50+ skin, not sure anyone younger would appreciate it as much as I do:)

Ranking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To sum up, I really enjoy Dior Capture the youth collection. Yes, it's heavy on the expensive side, but after a certain age, you know you have to pay for it 😆

Today on GirlsBeautyClub:

Ann: "How I grew my lashes in 4 months.

Hello Beauties!

For the last 4 months, I was using Almea Xlash Eyelash Serum that is used for eyelashes growth acceleration.

BEFORE: I never complained about eyelashes and did not use anything to accelerate growth or increase in density. They are pretty average, not too short, not too long. But after one of my friends had recommended to use some product for eyelashes growth, I decided to try.

ABOUT: Xlash is a natural product. It includes a bunch of fruits and plants extracts to stimulate hair follicles, making the eyelashes darker, longer and thicker.

USE: After evening cleansing, apply a small amount of the product along the line of growth of the upper lashes. Use this serum daily before going to bed.

RESULT: After 4 months of daily use (1 pack). I never had any burning, redness or anything unpleasant. It didn't affect my vision or health in general. As for the lashes (see pics attached), they really became longer and thicker. In terms of colour, I didn't notice any change, to be honest. Also, it became somehow easier to apply mascara. I have no idea what will happen with my lashes after I stop using it, but so far i'm happy with the result and am going to buy my second one.

NOTE: Please be very careful with it as eyes is a very sensitive area. Stop the use as soon as you have any bad feelings/ redness/ irritation or anything. Also it isn't recommended to be used for pregnant and lactating women.

Have you tried this product? Was the result positive?:)"

Today on GirlsBeautyClub!
Alison: "Thermal water: what is it and how to use it right.

Thermal water comes from hot sprigs and has a beneficial effect on on the skin, moisturises it, eliminates inflammation and fights with more serious skin problems and diseases.

KINDS OF THERMAL WATER
1. Isotonic
- This water has a neutral pH, its concentration is about the same as in blood cells.
- Isotonic water soothes the skin, relieves inflammation and irritation.
- You can apply this water and leave it until completely absorbed. The best for use on board of a plane.
- Brands: Uriage

2. Hypertensive (sodium bicarbonate water)
- This highly mineralised water, with a high content of mineral salts. It is more suitable for oily skin.
- It calms, restores the dermis, increases its protective properties, dries up acne and inflammation. Such thermal water might be used to fix make-up.
- Apply the water and after some 30 secs soak the face with a tissue to remove the remnants of the salts.
- Brands: Vichy SPA, thermal water Bioderma.

3. Hypotonic water (low salt content)
- This water moisturises the skin, has anti-inflammatory effect, and is well suited for dry skin.
- Apply, and soak with a napkin after couple of seconds.
- Brands: Avene

4. Thermal water with selenium content
- It contains selenium salts, which neutralise the effect of free radicals, and protects the skin from premature aging.
It also refreshes, soothes the skin after sunburn, relieves redness and instantly moisturises. Suitable for sensitive skin.
- Apply, and soak with a napkin after couple of seconds.
- Brands: La Roche-Posay and Dermophil Soin D'Eau Bagnoles De L'Orne.

HOW TO USE?
Spray it on clean skin, massage a little until completely absorbed and apply a cream on top. Then it will have an additional moisturising effect.
The second option is to apply after using the cream, lightly apply the skin and then put on your makeup.
When used without any cream, always soak it with a napkin!

Are you fans of thermal water? Tell us your experience!

Love,
Al."

Today at GirlsBeautyClub UAE:
Ann: "My choice of oil-free foundations.

Hi Girls,

I have oily sensitive skin and after moving to the UAE I started noticing more and more acne and blemishes on my face. Dermatologist recommended to change my beauty routine to oil-free products only. I will write about changes that I've made to my face care a bit later (need more time🙈), but today I want to share with you my top 3 oil-free foundations. Let's go!

Number 3: L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation
Price: 90aed
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Affordable option, but still very nice. It is really matte and covers all the blemishes. Won't say it's the most long lasting foundation I had, but couple of touch ups and it's as new again. Didn't notice any effect on acne, but does the job and helps not to look like a pancake at the end of day:)

Number 2: Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Foundation
Price: 250aed
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This foundation is made for oily skin and I recommend not to use it in any other case, as it will dry out big time. On oily skin it actually lasts pretty long, which is it's main advantage! Plus, it does not sit in lines and pores. Finally, it has SPF 10 (but i think there is an option without it...)
The only minus for me is the packaging... it's a disaster! I have no idea how to carefully use the needed me amount, end up with ketchup situation, you know... crazy:) Other than that, I really recommend!

Number 1: Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup
Price: 190aed
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you need not only get rid of oily shine, but also have positive effect on acne, this one is a good choice. Within a month of use, I noticed improvements in my acne. It also feels very light (I hate paint-like foundations) and natural, but at the same time covers all the imperfections of the skin. It is also affordable. I love:)

I really recommend to try! Honestly speaking couple fo years ago I didn't even think about oil-free foundation as I thought everything with oils is great haha. Happy to change my mind, try as well if you have the same skin type.

Maybe you have your own favourite? Share with us 😋"

Today on GirlsBeautyClub UAE:

Ann: "The Ordinary: what is it and how do I use?

Hi Girls,

I noticed that products from the Ordinary are becoming more and more popular. I use couple of them for sometime already and want to share with you my experience.

The Ordinary is a product line of Canadian brand Deciem. They mostly produce low-cost and easy-to-use serums.

Before buying, I read many reviews that were mostly relevant for my problem: I wanted a product(s) that will help me get rid of persistent acne and small wrinkles.

To start with, please if you try to use any of the products below, or any other product that contains acids, please don't forget about SPF!

1) Salicylic Acid 2% Solution 30ml
This product is the best for acne treatment. Due to its ability to deeply pe*****te into pores, it positively affects acne prone skin. At the same time, it serves as exfoliator, thus helps in treatment of post-acne marks. I'm very happy with the result, really a must-have for me.
I usually apply in the morning, daily, keep for some 10-15 minutes and the rinse off. But it also can be used as on-the-spot treatment.

2) Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% 30ml
This is a source of Vitamin C, which is very important for the skin as our body doesn't generate it naturally. This is a great solution for fight with acne, as it functions as an anti-inflammatory and eventually helps balance oil production. I also use it as a moisturiser in the morning.

3) Buffet 30ml
This one contains a bunch of anti-aging acids that works well as a preventative treatment. Please note that this is mostly an investment to the future as it definitely won't serve as botox:)
I apply at night after cleansing.

Right now I'm planning to include wither Retinol or Retinoid into my PM routine, have you tried any of those? Any opinions? 💗"

Today at GirlsBeautyClub UAE:
Alison: "Dry brushing for super skin!

How to get smooth toned skin for only 5 minutes per day? I've been dry brushing skin for almost 2 years already and for me it's similar to tooth brushing: simple and effective.

WHAT WE NEED:
Natural Bristle Brush for dry brushing. There is plenty of choice now, just choose the one that is more suitable for your skin. I'm using Cactus Long Handle Brush from Body Shop 🌵 (which is actually less than 50aed).

HOW TO USE IT:
1) I'm using it every morning before shower.
2) Make sure all the strokes directed to your heart, and from the bottom to the top (see image) - to simulate lymph movement. I always start from feet, legs, back, belly, hands.
3) BE CAREFUL with lymph nodes areas (armpits, groin, neck, chest and abdomen).
4) Start with some 3 mins, gradually increasing time. Don't hurry and don't push too hard - the process should be pleasant for you.
5) Then take a shower (I prefer a contrast shower) and apply moisturising lotion/ oil.
6) Finish with a glass of water or a cup of green tea.
7) Make sure to keep your brush clean: soap wash it weekly.

EFFECT:
1) I was really WOW-ed. I forgot about scrubs as my skin became smoother and more toned right after the first use.
2) After a month, I noticed less cellulite (however it never was a big issue for me).
3) It really helps wake up in the morning and stimulates lymphatic system (which positively affects your body in general cleansing toxins).

CAREFUL:
1) Please be careful with any cuts, bruises, but also varicose veins!
2) Skip massage if you experience fever or generally don't feel well.
3) Be careful if you have hyper sensitive skin.

Have you tried dry brushing? Tell me about your experience!😍

Love,
Al."

Kuwaiti beauty blogger not sorry for comments about Filipino workers 25/07/2018

Sondos is probably the most prominent Gulf beauty blogger and it is amazing to hear such statements from a person who represents beauty world to the region.

I was very pleased to read that some brands stopped working with this influencer because of her moral position. Such views should not be supported anyhow.

We all women, no matter the origin or profession. We all beautiful and powerful. And we have to support each other, remember that. ❤️

Kuwaiti beauty blogger not sorry for comments about Filipino workers She said the backlash was "unjustified".

Today at GirlsBeautyClub UAE.

Angela 😍: "Hello everyone!

Here am I with a big review of Clarins Face Treatment Oils!

There are three products within this line: Blue Orchid, Lotus, and Santal. Being very curious, I tried all of them and here are my thoughts:

All of them are awesome, but each serves different goals. The packaging not only looks amazing, but is very comfy to use. A huge plus - if you guy 30ml, you will use it forever, really. I have one in full size and still not even at the half after one year of use.
They all cost around 230 aed and definitely a 5 starts product for me!

Use: I'm using it at night, one drop, massaging face for some 10 mins and leave it. Ot absorbs very easily so no fat stains on the pillow:)
At the beginning (first 2 weeks) to fix the skin, I was using it daily. After first results, I cut to 3-4 times per week.

Now for the differences:

1) Clarins Santal Face Treatment Oil
Perfect for dry skin. Now i frequently use it as an after-sun product, as it nourishes and soothes the skin.

2) Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil.
My favourite one for now. It is very light, great for the summer. Helps to clean up the face from acne and blackheads. Even post acne vanish within some 4 days only. The only thing, such effect I achieved after some 14 days. At the beginning of the treatment, there were more tiny spots, but this is the way my skin was adapting to the oil.

3) Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil.
Helps for mimic wrinkles and moisturises. It is also the best if you want to have relaxing effect. I used to do long face massages with it.

Do you have your favourite oil? 😀

Have a great day!"

Alison:
"How I improved my hair with Kerastase

Good evening ladies,

I love professional hair care and really think that well chosen hair products make it healthy, shiny and silky 🦁

My favourite for now is the line Kerastase Discipline, which is developed to make hair smooth and silky. At the same time protect from humidity (hello Dubai summer). I ha ve three products from this line:

1) Kerastase Discipline Bain Fluidealiste shampoo.
price: 130aed
First, I'm completely in love with it's scent. It needs just a bit to make a foam and cleans pretty nice. Even after air dry it protects my hair from getting of frizzy.

2) Kerastase Discipline Maskeratine.
price: 197aed
I'm using this mask right after shampoo and usually leaving for some 10 mins. Wow, really this mask is awesome! My big love. First, it's very thick, so no need to take a lot (efficient!). After it hair is really silky and strong, sometimes I even skip brushing. I encourage you to try even as a standalone without shampoo, you will be impressed:)

3) Kerastase Discipline Fluidissime.
price: 90aed.
After the mask, I decided to go all the way and bought another product from this line - thermal protection spray. In Dubai I rarely blow dry hair, but when I use it, it gives nice effect and makes hair shinier. Not my favourite thermal protector, but ok.

Tell me whether you tried this product line?😍"
