I definitely have mixed emotions about coming back, obviously I’m so sad to be leaving my Millie but I’m so lucky to be coming back to a job I love with the nicest clients and best team around me 🫶🏻

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU WANT TO BE LIGHT BUT LOW MAINTENANCE…

- Being lighter doesn’t always have to come with the high maintenance. I last did Alice’s balayage back in December!

- She has been in for toners inbetween then (scroll back a few posts for info on toners) but the big job is a one or two times a year appointment!

- We have also gone slightly lighter on this appointment which is achievable because it’s a gradual process

- I’ve weaved and back combed each section to create that seamless blend, applied a darker root stretch toner and for the mid to ends applied a toner 3 shades lighter

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR HAIR IN THE CHLORINE

- DON’T GET IT IN THE CHLORINE 🙃

- Think about it, chlorine is a bleach. Mix your hair with this and ofcourse it will alter the colour/condition

- If you do have to get it wet some top tips are

- Wear a swim hat (maybe not the most glamorous at the beach clubs 😂)

- Wet your hair in the shower first so it soaks up that water first

- Profect your hair with a leave in conditioner/treatment mask

- Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo as soon as you get out
