A lifelong commitment isn’t what most people imagine. It’s not about waking up to share breakfast every morning or always ending the day cuddling in bed. It’s not having a perfect home filled with constant laughter and affection.

It’s someone stealing the covers and snoring through the night. It’s slamming doors, exchanging harsh words, and stubborn disagreements followed by silence until hearts mend and forgiveness comes. It’s coming home to the same person who loves and accepts you for who you are, flaws and all. It’s laughing over silly mistakes and navigating through dirty laundry and messy beds.

It’s helping each other through life’s toughest moments, biting back words when you’re frustrated, and throwing together a simple dinner after a long, chaotic day. It’s that fleeting smile as you cross paths, rushing to manage the chaos of daily life. It’s when your partner holds you on a tough day and tells you everything will be okay — and you trust them.

It’s about loving someone even when they drive you crazy. Love isn’t always easy, but it’s a gift — comforting, amazing, and one of the greatest blessings God intended for us.

It is inspiring to see how Coffee Meet up with Yves continues to grow, bringing together diverse professionals and entrepreneurs who are eager to connect, share ideas, and support each other in their journeys. It was definitely great to have many men join as well.

What stood out most was the meaningful dialogue, where everyone had a voice – a space where ideas sparked, collaboratiions and new friendships were formed. It is a reminder of the power of human connection and how valuable it is to make time for these face-to-face interactions.

A special thank you to all who attended, and a warm welcome to the new faces, especially the men who joined us this time around. Your presence added a fresh dynamic, and I’m excited to see how this community will continue to evolve.

Teachers' Day Reflection: We Are All Teachers

On Teachers' Day, we honour the incredible educators who shape minds and nurture growth. But let's not forget that each one of us is also a teacher in our own unique way.

Life presents endless opportunities to impart wisdom, whether through sharing experiences, offering advice, or simply by being an example.

We teach others through our kindness, resilience, creativity, and compassion. As friends, parents, colleagues, or even strangers, we constantly influence those around us, helping them navigate life's challenges. Each moment of guidance, no matter how small, contributes to someone’s journey.

Today, let's celebrate the teachers within us, recognizing that life itself is the ultimate classroom. Every interaction is an opportunity to share knowledge, support one another, and contribute to the growth of those around us.

I am posting this here to help me remember the road I have travelled and the future I am looking towards.

4th September 2018 will always be a day to remember. I attended my first networking event with absolutely no clue what I was doing there.

With over 300 people in the room, I felt nervous and unsure of how to start a conversation. I even coaxed my son, Brandon, to accompany me for moral support.

As I stood there wondering what to do, Brandon reminded me, "Everyone in this room is here for the same purpose—to network. You're not alone, Mum." With his words, I mustered the courage to speak to just one person and exchanged numbers that day.

From there, I went on to attend various events, meeting some amazing people. There were times when I encountered rude individuals, leaving me in tears. But those experiences only strengthened my resolve to keep showing up.

Consistency and a passion to succeed kept me going, and my circle of connections began to grow, continuing to expand to this day. I have found a genuine love for meeting new people.

Never stop doing things outside of your comfort zone. There is always magic in the unknown waiting to be discovered, and you never know how good you can be until you try.

Today, I am a licensed event planner, enjoying every moment of planning new events, connecting, and collaborating with people.

Never stop believing in yourself because every step forward shapes the path to your future. 💙

From the moment I put on the outfit, I felt enveloped in the beauty and artistry of her work. The fabric was not just beautiful but exquisite—soft, flowing, and of such high quality that it felt like a second skin.

Every stitch, every fold, and every curve of the fabric seemed thoughtfully placed, enhancing the overall elegance and grace of the piece. I felt empowered and confident, knowing I was adorned in something crafted with such passion and skill.

Reflecting on My 14-Day Self-Love Challenge with

Embarking on this 14-day self-love challenge has been a transformative experience for me. Each day brought new opportunities to reconnect with myself, understand my needs, and cultivate a deeper sense of appreciation for who I am.

The challenge encouraged me to pause and reflect, to practice kindness towards myself, and to embrace both my strengths and my imperfections.

I am deeply grateful for the moments of clarity and the insights I've gained. This journey wasn't just about self-care rituals but about truly learning to love and accept myself in all facets of life.

I am thankful for the support and the encouragement from Sangeeta. Your positive energy and shared experiences made this journey even more meaningful.

As I move forward, I carry with me the lessons of these two weeks, a stronger sense of self-love, and an open heart ready to continue this practice every day.
