PERMANENT MAKEUP DURING PREGNANCY

With all the joy and happiness that comes with pregnancy, many women start to get ready for baby’s arrival with different pampering and beauty treatments. While microblading is considered safe during pregnancy, it is recommended to wait until your baby is born. And here is why.

Pregnancy affects your hormones, and body may reject pigment as outer material. Everything looks good during the treatment but once healed the pigment may simply fade. Personally I didn’t have this issue, but for many of my patients we noticed how drastically pigment disappeared due to hormonal state. Again, it is completely safe, there is no studies that prove otherwise, it is mostly about pigment absorption and final result. Same happens during breastfeeding though your hormones are more in balance after the first few months postpartum.

Once you’re past delivery and finished your postpartum recovery you may consider doing microblading or permanent makeup to help you feel better and look wonderful the moment you wake up.

Adeline is now 6 months old. We are over the moon and excited to be her parents.

This time away, helped me to recharge, both personally and professionally.

We almost never create identical eyebrows for left and right side. Why? Because it would make the face look misbalanced and unnatural. In addition it would be difficult for client to get used to, as the tiniest difference in position would shift the entire look of the face.
