It is an oriental Indian attar made up of herbals, essential oils and spices. It is an art to make Shamamat Ul Amber because it involves the mixing of a variety of herbals and essential oils in a very traditional method. The fragrance is thick, long lasting and highly potent.

Notes: On top note you will get a wide spreading thick smell. After that a milk like ambery smell will drive your mind away.

Normally Three types of natural Attars are found.
They are:

1. Absolutes: Pure natural attar with no mixture.
Very high price. It is widely used in aromatherapy, medicines, cosmetics . It can be applied directly to skin.

2. Sandalwood Based Attars: With the absolutes good quality sandalwood is blended instead of paraffin. For nice aroma other natural ingredients are also mixed with it. It varies according manufacturer's choice. Its also costly. But the fragrance is exotic and improves with time. Very popular in Middle east countries like Saudi Arabia. Indians also like it.

3. Paraffin Based Attars: Absolutes are mixed with paraffin which is very available and cheap rate. This type widely used as Attars. It is also used in spa centers and in aromatherapy.
