Today I turn 53.
And honestly… I didn’t expect this year to look like this.
The last 12 months haven’t been linear —
there’s been the unexpected, the uncomfortable, and some really good moments too.
A life-changing diagnosis forced me to stop.
To reassess everything.
To finally prioritise my health — not just manage it.
And somewhere in that shift… everything else changed.
Fifty2Pilates was born.
Not from a plan, but from a pull I couldn’t ignore.
Now it’s my work, my routine, my community —
and something I’m building in a way that actually feels like me.
I’m proud of that.
And while I don’t have it all figured out…
I know I’m moving in the right direction.
Grateful for the people around me.
And for everyone who’s supported me this past year 🤍

I’m just over a year into teaching Pilates…
and this phase feels very real right now.
I’ve chosen alignment over just being busy…
even when that meant walking away from full rooms.
And stepping into spaces that feel more me…
but are quieter, slower to build.
And yes… it’s made me question myself at times.
But I also know this…
Energy matters
Alignment matters
And building something of your own takes time
I’m also learning that in a crowded space
your personality is your differentiator (more about this coming soon…).
Not just how you teach
but how you hold a room
how you connect
how people feel when they leave.
This isn’t just about teaching classes
It’s about building trust
A method
A following
