What if the greatest discovery isn’t about knowing what tomorrow holds, but learning to live fully today?

As we commemorate the discovery of the Holy Cross, we are reminded of a simple truth: the future belongs to God.

Jesus calls us not to search for dates and signs, but to trust in Him, seek His kingdom, and embrace the gift of today.

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.” — Matthew 6:34

✨ Trust God. Live today.

🌍 Armodoxy for Today is available in 3 languages: English, Armenian, and Spanish.

✨ The Face No One Dared to Carve

What if a single stone carving held centuries of faith, mystery, and artistic courage?

⛪ At Noravank Monastery in Armenia, the medieval master Momik created an extraordinary depiction of God the Father—a figure rarely represented in medieval Christian art.

In Deuteronomy 4:15–16, Scripture reminds us that when God spoke to His people, they saw no visible form. Depicting the invisible God was therefore a profound theological and artistic challenge.
Yet Momik dared to give the invisible a face.

🔍 Look closer, and the stone begins to tell its story:

👐 Adam’s Creation: In God’s hands rests the head of Adam, symbolizing the creation of humanity.
🕊️ The Breath of Life: A descending dove represents the Holy Spirit, through whom Adam receives life.
🕊️ The Soul’s Return: Another dove, believed to be hidden within God’s beard, has been interpreted as the human soul returning to its divine source after death.

Carved in stone centuries ago, this masterpiece still invites us to look beyond what is visible

Armodoxy for Today, Daily Message by Fr. Vazken Movsesian

Avoid the “Other” Temptation

We are all in need of healing, we all long for true freedom, and we all search for complete love, understanding and belonging in life.  Jesus said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Mark 2)

Tune in on weekdays to listen to Armodoxy for today.

Behind every face is a story, and everyone is carrying something we cannot see.

When life feels overwhelming, may we respond with compassion, cherish the gift of life, and do good within our reach. The rest, we entrust to God. 🤍
A reflection by Grigor Diran Avagyan, part of Translators for Today.
