Rough Royals - Hair care and advice

This is a place I'm creating to help athletes and martial artists look after their hair while breaking their bodies.

This will also be the place you can book in braiding appointments for events and comps.

Hi all! Haven't posted here in a bit. As comps are happening again, and training is up and running, don't hesitate to reach our for haircare tips or braids.

Hey All!

While we have time at home, why not give our hair the TLC it does not get when being dragged around on a mat and ripped from the scalp.

I will post a few make it yourself recipes you can make at home.

Try one or try them all!

First one! This one is great for dry hair.

Ingredients: 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

Directions: Combine in a small bowl. (You can double or half the recipe, depending on your hair’s length.)
Leave it on for 30 to 40 minutes before rinsing.

This nourishing treatment works on all hair types.

Hey All! Seeing as we have mandatory time off, now is a good time to get our hair back to good condition!

I'll do a video in the next couple of days with some info on products and what you can do!

Hi ladies! If I were to do a hair care and braiding seminar, what night (or day) would work best? Please give me the feedback so I can help you better. Also, please feel free to share this on your pages to get more feedback.

Hey everyone! Thanks for following.

I am looking to do a seminar on hair care with an amazing hair dresser. Will have instructions on how to self braid, good products and ways you can protect your hair. Plus goodies.
Will be a small fee (under $30 to cover costs)
I am not going to be making money from this.
Any money goes back in to the night or product so I can offer more free braids for athletes.
If you would be interested please like this post!

HI! I have been doing BJJ on and off for 4 years, and I have been asked to braid a lot of people's hair for events.
While doing that, and through training I have found there is help to be given in the form of advice on how to care for your hair to stop breakage after being thrashed on the mats, or how to braid your own hair for training in order to be a considerate training partner. I'm teaming up with a couple other people in order to give as much help and support as possible.
