First Client of the year yes I am slowly coming back and taking clients on board. Met the beautiful Rebecca all glam up for her fringe show with Choo La La Burlesque Fusion Adelaide we did both days on weekend The Saturday and Sunday. It felt really good being back and bec help me ease my way back into things she was so supportive as I have known bec for a very long time. Well hello there my queen bees 👋 its been minute . This is going to be a long post so please read if you care to do so if not that's ok. Now if you've haven't noticed I haven't been posting I have stop taking on clients I have stop putting myself out there like advertising all for good reasons. At first I starting having doubts within myself from a few bad experiences that had brought my confidence way down low to the point I wanted to throw the towel in and give up and closed my page down and just forget about it all which I was very close to doing so but then I thought what will that do just because things get tough I just give up and throw it all away what would that prove 🤷‍♀️ but then I realised I need to change my mindset and stop worrying about everything stop worrying about not getting clients stopping worrying about not getting returning clients stop worrying about what everyone else thinks stop worrying about if someone likes or hates there makeup that I have done stop worrying if things don't always go to plan just stop worrying and stressing you are killing yourself doing so 🤦‍♀️ I have also been so busy with my youngest child and I have had literally no time to do anything lol mum life but now he has just started primary school so now I have time to do things I want to do to get ontop of my business and myself 👊 now this where things start and I mean I am going to be starting all over again which means working my way from the bottom to the top. I am going back to the basics and shifting my focus back to where it all began doing some hard core research studying, practising learning how to build my business up learning more about products meaning makeup, skincare and services literally everything you can think of. I will be even on the look out again for reliable models to practice on. I know I am definitely far from the best makeup artist and I know my work isn't great at times and I am very sorry if you had your makeup done by me and not like it. I just hope one day you will give me a second chance to redeem myself 🥰 and please remember if there is something you don't like with your makeup please please be honest and speak up we as makeup artists need to know these things so don't ever feel bad. You are paying for a service so you have all rights to speak up as long as its not rude. Now to wrap up this long post I will no longer at this time will be taking clients. I need to work on myself and my skills to give you the best makeup as possible. I need to remember why I choose this career path I need to remember how to enjoy what I do I need to remember the fun and excitement I get from being a makeup artist why love doing what I am doing and just have fun in what I do. Please remember I am not stopping and will be back in taking up clients again but this stage I won't be. I will be still be posting showing off makeup looks I have done that day. Halloween is coming up and I thought I would get my creativity on and play around today.
