With this humble gear, groups of 4 have an hour of fun, fitness while deep diving into the science & philosophy of self defense and combat sport that is Muay Thai.
I dont compete anymore but still train and have been for 30 years!!
In recent years, I've been very fortunate to train under and work with Pinky and now strive to practice and share authentic Muay Thai as taught by him.
I teach 1:1 & small groups of 4 to 6 people at competitive rates.

Gua sha is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) technique where a smooth-edged tool is scraped across the skin
By removing "stagnation" it improves;
Blood circulation
Boost energy (qi) flow
Release muscle tension
The scraping action can create temporary redness or petechiae (small dark spots) which is considered normal & shows the technique worked
Remedial gua sha uses firm pressure to relieve pain, muscle tension & aid in respiratory illnesses
Cosmetically, a gentler version is used on the face to promote circulation for a youthful appearance

BREATH WORK 気息
From birth my lungs were a major health issue that shaped my destiny
Being weak frail & sickly led me to train in martial arts to get strong & protect myself
1st lesson, breathing
Breath is one of the biggest sources of energy for us
It will inevitably affect your stress levels, overall health etc if you don’t know how to use it
In China, they say;
Qi follows Yi, energy follows the intent
Breathing controls your mind, your mind/intent guides the energy
We tend to forget about active breath work & how important it is to our mind & body.
Breathing is different depending on purpose.
There is a type of breathing for health, a type of breathing for fighting
Start with breathing for health, make it a daily habit

These are pics from way before my new clinic, before the pandemic started
I was travelling around Oz on a bicycle, preaching;
Grow your own food/medicine, make your neighbourhood your family
I treated & taught people Chinese medicine. With anything, I could get my hands on
Here is cupping therapy using shot glasses, some cheap vodka, and BBQ skewers
When you have the know-how, the tools are kinda irrelevant (as long as you sterilise them😉)
