What to Expect After Your Initial Shadow Brow Tattoo

Your shadow brows are freshly done—now the healing journey begins.

Immediately after your appointment, your brows will appear darker, more defined, and slightly bolder than your desired end result. This is completely normal. Over the next 7–14 days, as your skin heals, the colour will soften and lighten by up to 30–40%.

During the healing phase, you may notice:
• Slight redness or tenderness
• Light flaking or dryness
• A temporary “patchy” appearance as the skin regenerates

It’s important not to pick, scratch, or interfere with the healing process. Let your skin naturally shed to ensure the best pigment retention.

Around weeks 3–4, the true healed result begins to settle in. This is when you’ll see a softer, more natural version of your brows—but they may appear lighter or slightly uneven in areas. This is completely expected.

Your Perfecting Touch-Up

Your first touch-up is where the magic happens.

At your 4–6 week appointment, we:
• Reinforce and deepen the pigment
• Adjust shape if needed
• Fill in any areas that healed lighter
• Perfect the overall finish

This session is essential to achieve long-lasting, even, and beautifully balanced results.

Think of your initial appointment as laying the foundation, and your touch-up as the refinement that brings everything together.
