My partner & I are very excited 🥰 My due date is early February & I’ve booked off work from around Christmas this year. I imagine massage will be quite challenging by then!

Introducing paramedical skin needling for scar & stretch mark revision 🙌🏻

At the beginning of the year I completed a series of advanced skin theory certificates. Along with training in a paramedical skin needling technique. This technique combines micro needling with a medical grade serum to improve the appearance of scars & stretch marks.

The needling causes micro damage to the basal cell layer of the skin. This is where the skins stem cells & malonocytes live. The damage re-triggers the bodies healing response. While the serum provides the regenerative active ingredients needed to help restore the skins tone & texture. This is an innovative technique with promising results.

Over the years with weight gain / loss & struggles with my mental health I have accumulated a number of scars & stretch marks. I was sceptical but hopeful that the treatment was effective. Turns out it is quite effective!

I’ve had a lot of clients apprehensive about receiving remedial or deep tissue massages, because of past experiences with therapist trying to achieve relaxation of soft tissue with brute force. This is simply not the way! 🙌🏻
