Saturday my nails were in rough shape. I’d been biting them again (anxiety does that). so I started with sticky tabs instead of glue to give my natural nails a full break.

four days later…tabs come off, nails underneath are completely intact. and the press-ons? still perfect. same set, reapplied with glue today.

this is going to last me another 2-3 weeks. total: almost a full month on one set, zero damage to my real nails.

How to apply press-ons with sticky tabs 🤍

Perfect for events, weekends, content days, or whenever you need a damage-free quick wear.

The steps:
✦ Start with clean, dry nails (alcohol pad helps)
✦ Pick a tab slightly smaller than your nail bed — when you press the press-on down, the tab spreads out and reaches the edges naturally
✦ Apply the tab, push it down toward the cuticle gently to seat it
✦ Remove the film, place the press-on, and press firmly for 30 seconds

Hacks that actually make a difference:
✦ Warm the tab with a hair dryer for a few seconds before placing the press-on — heat activates the adhesive way more
✦ Apply at night — they seal better while you sleep
✦ Re-press throughout the day to keep them secure
✦ No water for the first hour
✦ When you remove them, the press-ons come off intact — reuse them with glue for 2+ more weeks
