Lucky for you I’m trained and up to date with the latest ways to apply hair to my gorgeous clients. Here’s a run down on wefts to help you choose.

Machine weft- this is the standard used in most weft applications in Australia however compared to flat and hand tied wefts it is bulky and not as comfortable. As people are discovering flat weft I expect that machine weft will decrease in popularity however it’s an amazing choice for those on a budget or only want long locks for a shorter duration.
Machine weft hair will last 3 months to 1 year if looked after correctly. I use machine weft 100% remy hair in my lush and luxe weft packages.

Flat weft- flat weft has me excited! This is a new technology weft that closet mimics the scalp and isnt as heavy or doesn’t possess the risk of being uncomfortable like machine weft. Flat weft is a super thin weft that is extremely flexible and of high quality. I use 100% Russian remy hair for my flat weft installs and this is the best hair on the market in my opinion. Although a little more pricey you’ll find the hair lasts up to 2 years with the right care and there will be less to no tangles, snapping, fallout ect. I use skin weft in my luxury weft package.

Hand tied- hand tied wefts are the ultimate extension. I hand make these little beauties especially for you. This means your hair is totally customised to suit you! Hand tied wefts are the best of the best they are micro thin around the weft join and have no bulkiness. Each set of Lucy’s locks is bespoke hand crafted and shares with you the luxury of custom hair. Hand tied is the most luxury, comfortable, long lasting extension available on the extension market.
