FAQ FAQ FAQ- How do I dry brush to support my lymphatic system?
If youâre unsure, take a look at image two and read onâŚ
1. Start by activating the node clusters (represented by grey ovals), with gentle presses or circles 5-10 times each cluster.
> When these are activated theyâre more likely to suction the fluid and do a better job!
2. Using the arrows as a guide start brushing at the top of your body and work down your body.
> Neck followed by chest, then armpits, upper back and so on.
> Essentially working proximal (closest) to the heart then distal (furthest). This ensures the lymph pathways are clear ahead before you move the fluid upwards.
Sorry the arms arenât included in the illustration.
- brush upper arm towards armpit, followed by forearm towards elbow, and then hand towards wrist.
This is a really pleasant experience and something I hope you enjoy doing. Donât worry about not âdoing it rightâ. Anything is better than nothing when it comes to dry brushing ;)
If you have any qâs or would like to experience brushing in a treatment, get in touch.

My 'Restore Massage and Body Oil' has been working away on all clients that step through the studio door.
The blend of purposeful and pure anti-inflammatory essential oils, includes spearmint, sweet orange, and turmeric and together they smell so good.
It was designed with local aromatherapist to soothe achy bodies, stressed minds and relieve headaches.
Here's what each ingredient brings to the table:
~ Sweet orange: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and circulatory-boosting properties. It stimulates the digestive and lymphatic systems, helping with constipation and fluid retention. Moreover, it acts as an antidepressant, easing nervous tension and stress.
~ Turmeric: Known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and circulatory-boosting effects on muscles and joints. It can be especially helpful for arthritis and general aches and pains. Additionally, it acts as a digestive system stimulant, improving sluggish digestion and liver congestion.
~ Spearmint: Offers analgesic, antiseptic, and antispasmodic benefits, providing support to the nervous system for headaches, migraines, stress, and fatigue.
~ The base is nourishing organic apricot kernel oil.
You can purchase via my online shop (link in bio) or when youâre next in.
