Asking for a friend, does wedding season even end anymore? 😂

I swear there used to be a few quieter winter months to catch up on admin, work ON my business instead of FOR my business and convince myself I’d get organised before next season starts. Now it feels like weddings are filling the calendar more than ever before.

Absolutely not complaining (in fact, I’m incredibly grateful) but I’d love to know if other wedding vendors are noticing the same thing, or if I’ve simply forgotten what an off-season feels like 😂

Yesterday’s masterclass with pushed me completely out of my comfort zone, exactly where growth happens.

As artists, it’s so important to keep investing in continued education, refining our techniques, challenging old habits, and staying open to learning no matter how long we’ve been in the industry. Merton’s direct feedback is exactly what I needed, not just as a makeup artist, but as a business owner too.

I left feeling inspired, motivated to implement some new techniques and so proud of the final look I created 🤍

What makes this even more special is that Sarah was actually the one who first got me into makeup all those years ago, so having her in my chair yesterday felt like such a full circle moment.

Forever grateful for the business I’ve built, the life I’ve created for myself and for opportunities that push me to evolve 🫶🏼
