On Friday we will be announcing the recipients of the first of our ETAA Annual Awards. This has been an extremely exciting time for the Equine Therapies Association of Australia and its members. We love nothing more than to see amazing equine therapists be recognised for their outstanding work, but even better is to see a community of professionals get around each other and celebrate each other's success. While we can only award one person from each category, every single one of the award finalists deserve to be congratulated!

👋🏼 🦄Hello!!
I’m Connor, the face behind “Two as One” and your local Equine Sports Massage Therapist / Remedial Massage Therapist.
If you’re new here, welcome! I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.
My passion is helping horses and riders move, feel and perform at their best, creating a freer, more harmonious partnership.
Whether your horse is dealing with muscle tightness, recovering from hard work or simply deserves some maintenance, I’m here to help. I also offer remedial massage for riders because a balanced rider plays a huge role in a comfortable, balanced horse.
I believe every treatment should be tailored to the individual, taking the time to assess, treat and provide recommendations that support long-term wellbeing… not just a quick fix !!
When I’m not treating clients, you’ll usually find me around horses, learning something new or …let’s be honest.. just thinking about horses!
I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported my small business so far and I’m excited to welcome all the new faces joining this community.

Why is this blue light on Noodles? 👀🐴
I’m using it during his massage to help any inflammation & support superficial tissues in his back while I work further up her body.
It’s a supportive tool I sometimes incorporate during sessions to help encourage relaxation in tight areas and complement the hands-on work I’m doing.
Not a replacement for massage but just an extra layer of support when a horse is holding a bit more tension.

What you’re seeing is communication, not behaviour.
Before treatment, Candy was showing clear signs of discomfort: tightness through her back, resistance to touch and a very reactive response when areas were palpated.
During treatment, we started to see a shift.
Her expression softened, her body began to release and she started to feel safe enough to let go of that tension.
After treatment, the change was clear - softer posture, relaxed expression and acceptance of touch where she was previously guarding.
Horses rarely “overreact” for no reason.
They’re always telling us something.. we just have to listen.
If your horse is showing changes in behaviour, sensitivity or resistance to touch, it’s often their way of communicating discomfort long before it becomes more obvious under saddle.
Every horse deserves to feel comfortable in their body. Just like Candy, a sweet mare who does her best🤍
