Tis the season for colour changes 🍂

Firstly, thank you to those that have been checking in with me 🩷

I am hoping to be back in the salon next week, but at a much slower pace than usual. I’m still struggling with heavy fatigue 😴
At this stage, the plan is to work just a few hours each day.

I’ve had to postpone a lot of clients appointments, and with only being able to work a few hours a day for now, it may be a bit of a slow process to get everyone back in…sorry 😔
But I shall do what I can 🩷

Thank you for your patience, support and understanding. If I behave myself and let my body recover properly, hopefully I’ll be back at full capacity sooner rather than later xx

L i g h t ➖ D a r k

Just like going blonde, going dark is also a process.
Lightened hair lacks pigment, so before we colour with our target shade, we need to fill the lightened hair with some pigment. This gives the darker colour something to hold on to.

The end result ➖ a beautiful, rich shade of chocolate 🤎

We love a midweek transformation 👌🏼

From all natural, to a creamy blonde with a dash of violet 💜

This beautiful girl can rock any hair colour she chooses! And today it was a stunning shade of red ❤️

We’ve started the process of going lighter 🪄
In just two sessions, there has been great progress.
And the best part is, the health of the hair has not been compromised 🙌🏼
Bring on session three!

I’ve been a little quiet on the socials of late, so it’s time to play some catch up!

Starting with this colour correction for a beautiful lady 🌸

Instead of foils, I opted for a full ‘on scalp’ lightening, while gently cleaning out the mids and ends.
A toner to neutralise. And a fresh haircut 💇🏻‍♀️

A beautiful shade of peach 🍑

Not the ideal start to 2025……but it’s early days and plenty of time for the rest of the year to be great…surely!

I may be a little ambitious in hoping to return to work next week, but I’ll see. I may need to shuffle some appointments around to make room for the people I had to cancel this week, and to attempt to reduce my hours.

I had the pleasure of working with this lovely lady’s hair for the first time today 🪄

The goal was to eliminate as much warmth as possible, brighten the blonde, add a little dimension, with a soft root smudge.
I think we did it!

I did a loooot of foil work to remove the solid gold tones. I added some lowlights underneath to add the dimension, which will look fab with curls 👌🏼 With the toning process, I smudged the roots with a natural cool brown, and neutralised the lightened hair with a shade of pearl.

I couldn’t be happier with the result, especially for our first session together!
