A clinically proven approach to body contouring

Cold outside isn't it..... ❄️

We know, we know - the last thing you want to think about when you're rugged up in your favourite hoodie is your body. But hear us out, because winter is actually the BEST time to start your fat freezing journey.

Because fat freezing results take 8-12 weeks (sometimes longer) to fully show. Which means if you start now, you're walking into spring looking and feeling like a whole new version of yourself. 🌸

While everyone else is waiting for the warm weather to "get motivated," you're already ahead.

Your future self is going to thank you for this one. 💛

Every week you don't have The Lipoedema Protocol in your toolkit, there are women in your area searching for someone who knows this condition. And they're finding someone else.

Not because you're not good at what you do. But because lipoedema is still widely misunderstood, and the practitioners who actually specialise in it stand out immediately. Women with lipoedema have often spent years being dismissed, misdiagnosed, or given advice that made things worse. When they find a practitioner who genuinely understands their condition, they don't just book - they stay, they refer, and they become your most loyal clients.

June is Lipoedema Awareness Month. These women are more active online right now than at any other time of year. They're in Facebook groups, they're Googling, they're asking for recommendations. They are looking for you - but only if you can speak their language.

The cost of this course is a one-time investment. The cost of not doing it is harder to calculate, but it's real. It's the clients who found someone else. It's the referrals that went to another clinic. It's another year of sitting on the sideline of a conversation you could be leading.

Enrolment is open now. Head to the link in my bio or drop me a message if you want to know more before you commit.

This is one of the most important conversations I have with clients, and I want to have it here too.

Because lipoedema is a chronic condition. There is no cure. And if we don't set realistic expectations from the start, we set people up for disappointment, even when they're actually making meaningful progress.

So what does real progress look like?

It looks like legs that feel lighter at the end of the day instead of unbearably heavy. It looks like less pain when you're touched in the affected areas. It looks like swelling that reduces more quickly after a long day on your feet. It looks like sleeping better because you're not constantly shifting to find a comfortable position.

It looks like making plans and actually following through on them. It looks like moving through your day with less mental energy spent managing discomfort.

Progress with lipoedema is cumulative. It builds over time with consistent treatment, consistent home care, and a practitioner who understands that this is a long-term relationship, not a one-off appointment.

This is why The Lipoedema Protocol is designed the way it is. Treatment frequency, pacing, client education, and realistic expectation management are all built into the methodology. Because a client who understands what progress actually looks like will stay consistent. And consistency is what gets results.

If you're a practitioner and this resonates with how you want to practice, The Lipoedema Protocol course will give you the framework to do it properly. Details in my bio.

Lipoedema is a complex, multi-layered condition. So the treatment methodology has to be too.

This is why I built The Lipoedema Protocol around five core pillars, each one addressing a different part of what makes this condition so difficult to manage. They don't work in isolation. They work together.

This is what structured lipoedema care looks like. Not a single treatment. Not a quick fix. A methodology.

I teach this entire framework to practitioners across Australia through The Lipoedema Protocol course. If you're a clinic owner or therapist who wants to offer genuinely evidence-informed lipoedema care, this is the training that will change how you practice.

Course details are in my bio. June is the perfect time to take this seriously.

Here's an interesting fact. Most treatments for lipoedema were never actually designed for it. They were borrowed from general body contouring and hoped for the best.

The Lipoedema Protocol is different because every single component was chosen with intention. Not just to reduce fluid or improve drainage in isolation, but because each step makes the next one more effective. It's a synergistic approach, which means the results compound rather than plateau.

As someone living with this condition, I knew things had to change within the treatment space.

If you're a client who has tried other treatments and felt like they only scratched the surface, this is why and belieeeeve me when I say you are not alone. And if you're a practitioner who wants to actually move the needle for your lipoedema clients, this is worth paying attention to.

One of the things I feel strongly about is that lipoedema care doesn't stop when you leave the treatment room.

What you do between sessions matters. Not in a "you need to do everything perfectly" way, because that's exhausting and unrealistic. But in a "small, consistent habits compound over time" way.

Here's what actually helps.

Compression. Wearing your compression garments consistently is one of the most impactful things you can do. It supports the lymphatic vessels, reduces fluid build-up, and helps maintain the results from your in-clinic treatment. It doesn't have to be perfect. Consistent beats perfect every time.

Movement. Not intense exercise, just movement. Walking, gentle swimming, rebounding if you have access to a mini trampoline. The lymphatic system has no pump of its own, it relies on muscle contractions to move fluid. Even 20 minutes of walking makes a difference.

Hydration. Lymph fluid is mostly water. When you're dehydrated, everything gets sluggish. Drink consistently throughout the day, not just when you're thirsty.

Reduce inflammatory load where you can. This looks different for everyone, but things like processed foods, alcohol, and chronic stress all add to the inflammatory burden your body is already managing.

Rest and recovery. Your body does a lot of its repair work while you sleep. Prioritising sleep isn't indulgent, it's part of your treatment plan.

These aren't complicated. They're just intentional. And when they're combined with proper in-clinic treatment, the results are genuinely different.

This home support framework is built into The Lipoedema Protocol. Want to know more? Link in bio.

If you have lipoedema, inflammation isn't just a buzzword. It's one of the core reasons this condition is so difficult to manage, and why treating it properly requires more than a single modality.

Here's what's actually happening in the tissue.

Lipoedema fat isn't just enlarged fat cells sitting there passively. The tissue environment is actively inflamed. There's chronic, low-grade inflammation running through the affected areas, which contributes to the tenderness, the sensitivity, the burning sensations, and the way your legs can feel like they're working against you.

This inflammation also affects the lymphatic vessels in the area, making it harder for fluid to drain properly. Which creates more congestion. Which creates more inflammation. It's a cycle.

This is why a treatment approach that only addresses one part of the picture will always fall short. You can drain the fluid, but if you haven't addressed the inflammatory load, it comes back. You can soften the tissue, but if the circulation isn't supported, the environment doesn't change.

The Lipoedema Protocol is built around five pillars, and inflammation regulation is one of them. Not as an add-on. As a foundational part of how we approach every treatment.

This is the level of understanding that lipoedema care requires. And it's exactly what I teach practitioners in The Lipoedema Protocol course.

If you're a practitioner who wants to offer genuinely structured lipoedema care in your clinic, the course details are in my bio.

We talk a lot about the physical symptoms of lipoedema. The heaviness. The pain. The swelling that doesn't budge no matter what you do.

But there's another layer. The psychological toll.

The grief of spending years, sometimes decades, being told your body is your fault. The exhaustion of fighting for a diagnosis that should have come sooner. The shame that gets quietly internalised when doctor after doctor looks at you like you just need to try harder.

The way you start to plan your life around your body. Choosing seats at restaurants. Avoiding photos. Saying no to things you actually want to do because you don't know how your legs will feel that day.

This is real. And it matters just as much as the physical symptoms.

A proper approach to lipoedema care has to include psychological safety and support. Not as an afterthought. As a core part of the methodology.

When I developed The Lipoedema Protocol, I built this in deliberately. Because a client who feels judged, rushed, or dismissed in the treatment room will never get the outcomes she deserves. And a practitioner who doesn't understand the emotional weight their client is carrying isn't equipped to support her properly.

You deserve care that sees all of you. Not just your legs.

The Lipoedema Protocol trains practitioners to deliver exactly that. Curious about the course? The link is in my bio.

June is Lipoedema Awareness Month. And every year, I use this month to say the things that need to be said louder.

Lipoedema is one of the most misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and dismissed conditions affecting women today. Up to 1 in 10 women are thought to have it. Most of them have no idea. 👀

They've been told to eat less. Move more. Try harder. Have more willpower.
And they've believed it. Because when a doctor tells you it's your fault, you believe them.

This month is about changing that. It's about making sure that the woman who's been quietly suffering, who's been avoiding the beach and cancelling plans and crying in change rooms, knows that there is a name for what she's experiencing. And there is support.

I've spent years working with women who have lipoedema. I've developed a structured treatment protocol specifically for this condition. I've trained practitioners across Australia to deliver it properly.

Because this condition deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach. It deserves practitioners who actually understand it.

If you've been nodding along reading this, I want you to know - you're not imagining it, you're not failing, and you're not alone.

This month, we talk about it. All of it.
