Hey lovely people.
Just wanting to give a heads up/reminder to everyone who’s been msging me both on my business page and personal page.
I only work Thursday’s, Friday’s and Saturday’s. So any days inbetween I don’t usually check my msgs as they are my days off. I am also completely swamped with a tonne of msgs + appointments I need to reschedule due to no-shows and last minute cancellations on top of being booked up 3-4 months in advance… so if I don’t respond right away, plz just be patient. I am just one girl trying to do everything on my own. I appreciate those who have been waiting patiently over the last 2 months.
Also a gentle reminder to those who have been cancelling last minute or not showing up - I required 48hrs notice, 24hrs at the absolute minimum (obviously I understand some things are out of our control), however I do charge a $50 cancellation fee - which I don’t think is unfair to ask as my cancellation list has grown pretty dramatically. I miss out and so do the people who’ve been waiting patiently.
I’ve had a lot of these cancellations and no shows the last 2 months and it’s made my work life pretty hard trying to sort appointments left, right and centre.
Again, thanks to you all who have been very patient in this crazy time.
I’m only a msg away if you need to reschedule, book or make an enquiry about a previous booking.

I’VE MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH 😭

So, just wanted to let everyone know that I will be reopening the salon doors. However, there will be quite a few changes, not purely because of the COVID19 but because I’ve had time to reflect on where my business was taking me.
I’m just one girl, and turns out a very overworked girl.
I am so, so very grateful for the amount of people who request my services on the regular but it was sending me mentally and emotionally to the point of almost closing my doors permanently, which is not something I want. I should have stopped taking on new clients 12 months ago but because I love you all and love making people happy I didn’t want to let anyone down, but the one person I let down the most was myself. And as much as I’m eager to get back to being busy again, I really don’t want to go back to being as crazy as I was. It honestly was very overwhelming and not good for my mental health 🥵
With that being said, I need to start making some changes to not only benefit myself, but to come back to work and be the hairdresser you all deserve!
So here is what I’ll be implementing:
• I will be reducing my work hours (Check the hours on the page or msg me directly).
• I won’t be taking on any new clients for the foreseeable future (if you are a client I haven’t seen for 6+ months I unfortunately will not be able to take you back on as my schedule is just too booked up in advanced to try and work you back into it.. sorry ❤️).
• I will not be replying to messages outside of work hours/days, this also includes anyone contacting me on my personal pages about appointments.
• I now will require 48hrs notice of any appointment changes and cancellations. Cancellations or last minute changes of appointments within less of the 48hr period will be charged a fee and added onto your next appointment - so please make sure when you make or rebook appointments you are 100% able to make them.
• Services are to be paid cash only and in total on the day. This is one thing I’ve been a little too lenient on.... So please, if you are unsure on how much to bring or how much the service will be, msg/call me.
• REBOOKING IS A MUST! I cannot stress it enough. If you don’t rebook, I won’t be stretching my hours or days to try and fit you in if you do not rebook - regular or not, sorry. ❤️
• If you are sick, please do not come to your appointment!
• Children are not to tag along with you for your appointment UNLESS they have an appointment themselves. My salon is not child friendly/safe.
I am hoping to be back up and running again by end of May/beginning of June.
I am currently messaging people to reschedule up coming appointments, and rebooking the people who were first cancelled. So please don’t bombard me with msgs about appointments coming up, because they are unfortunately going to be pushed out longer for those who have waited the longest.
I know it sucks having regrowth, greys, outgrowing hair, but I am just one person trying to rebook 4 months of fully booked clients. So please be patient with me over the next few weeks, I promise you will be contacted.
I’m sorry to those I haven’t replied to yet, I’m not ignoring you, ya gurl is just overwhelmed 😅
I love you all so very much and I cannot thank you enough for all the patience and support you have given me not only the last 3.5 years but especially over the last couple of months.

So, as of tomorrow I’ll be closed until further notice. We all need to stay safe and healthy in these hard times.
I love each and every one of you all so much. Thanks for your ongoing support and your continued support throughout this uncertain future, I’ll see you on the other side.

On another note - how lush is/was Lauren’s hair. She’s currently chopped most of it off for the worlds greatest shave.

It’s comes with very heavy, heavy heart and after many tears and panic attacks I’m going to have to close my doors as of next week 😭
It is just physically impossible in the work that us hairdressers do to 1 - do most clients in 30mins or less and 2 - practice “safe social distancing” at the same time.
So I will be in contact with each and everyone of you individually about your current/future appointments.
I am only one person so please be patient with me in this crazy, stressful time. I will do my absolute best to accommodate each of you like I always do.
If you would like to msg me in the meantime, please don’t hesitate in doing so.
I love you all so, so much and appreciate the love and loyal support over the last 3 years. It’s a difficult time for all and I wish there was more I could do.
