MLD Course update: Loving learning about the Lymphatic system and all it's functions.

The lymphatic system extends like a honeycomb webbing across the body surface, just underneath the skin. Lymphatic fluid or 'lymph' flows from these superficial lymphatic capillaries into deeper lymphatic vessels and into the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are our bodies filtration system, where toxins, metabolic waste and abnormal cells are eliminated.
Around 2-4L of lymphatic fluid is circulated and filtered every 24 hours!

Reminder: The clinic will be closed this week as I'm attending training to learn Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I'm super excited and looking forward to bringing this new skill to you all soon!!

WORKS NOTICE:
Ashphalting and beautification works have begun on Macauley Place.
Unfortunately this means that there will be disruptions and access issues. We cannot walk up from the direction of the Coles carpark, instead a pedestrian access walkway has been set up coming from Penguin Place. When coming for an appointment it is best to park in Penguin Place and walk down Macauley Place from there.
Disruptions are expected until May.
Apologies for the inconvieninces this will cause everyone but hopefully it means we will have a brighter, cleaner and more welcoming Macauley Place once it is done!!
