A LETTER FROM SHOSH

I know I am not alone when I say that I am still reeling.

Westfield Bondi Junction has been a place of sanctuary, particularly when my kids were small.

QED Skincare had it’s first store in the centre on Level 4 and I worked on Level 3 as a Pharmacist for many years.

Sydney has been our glorious Sanctuary, and Australia our laid-back, caring Sanctuary.

And it feels like our axis has been knocked askew.

But of course, our shock and fear pales in comparison to the torture of those injured and suffering, or the too many families who lost their beloveds. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

May we be in a world filled with bravery and kindness like the heroes on Saturday who took loving care of strangers.

May the physically (& psychologically) injured have speedy recoveries.
