Neither beachy nor bouncy, flat iron waves are the new curling iron waves.

As seen here on Kendall Jenner, waves created with a straightener are more subtle and a little less glam. Just create a bend in your hair by pushing it upward, then seal the shape with a few clamps of your iron. Release and repeat. Keep your ends straight for a more polished look.

While the ponytail is a natural go-to to tame messy hair, the Parisian's are teaching us a lesson on the newest lazy-girl hair trend. Introducing . . . the banana bun!

The banana bun is essentially a messy chignon, but with a twist.

While there's no distinct right or wrong when it comes to the banana bun (yep — you can wear it to the side or twist it a few times), we're loving the modern take on a messy French twist and its limitless options.

Again the Parisian women bless us with yet another chic solution for unruly strands.

And the perfect excuse to live in a messy bun, of course! Merci beaucoup, Pari!

There was no shortage of boldly painted lips on the spring 2017 runways.

Makeup artists delivered a variety of textures (glitter at Fendi and DKNY, matte at Giambattista Valli and Jason Wu, and gorgeously glossed at Carolina Herrera and Chanel) in vivid hues that brought a welcomed jolt of color to minimally made-up complexions.

At Jason Wu, a layering of matte orange and cherry resulted in a rather sporty, fluorescent finish.

(We found just the right shade to simplify this look at home).

Semi-matte pouts also made a debut at Cushnie et Ochs and Valentino in a range of electric pink and ruby shades that powerfully illuminated the entire face.
