Jokes aside, let me change your view on something for a moment. You might not know this but there are many hairdressers making more money than doctors. Many hairdressers that travel the world for their job, working with celebrities, owning huge companies or creating products. Hairdressers that live incredible lives. There are many hairdressers who, like myself, were academic enough to get into uni- but chose not to and still totally smashed their career without a degree in sight. The good news is this. There is a huge lack of intelligent, creative and hardworking young people coming into our industry. Why is that good news? Because if you have half a brain and a good work ethic you could be a huge player with an insane career. This is your opportunity to be a big player. We need you, we need your drive, we need your energy. Screw uni if it’s not your vibe, there is more than one way to be successful in this world. -
