As an Artist, over the years I have learnt that a subtle makeup can be just as impactful as a glamourous makeup! Using self restraint when it comes to techniques and colours can sometimes be challenging because I just want to get in there and create! However, using complimentary palette tones, softer blending techniques and picking out features you want to enhance can still create an effective makeup look. It just depends on what you’re wanting! It’s also good to change up your look sometimes, if you’re someone who always wears the same colours why not try something else to freshen up your routine? You may find a new favourite pop of colour you never knew about! ❤️ Quick tip below:

Next time you do your makeup and you’re wanting a more fresher eye look, why not try a white kohl eyeliner on the waterline of your eye? The white colour is stark and light and will create brightness to open up your eye for a fresher, more uplifted look. Trust me, you’ll love it and you can incorporate this into a day or nighttime makeup.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this uncertain and stressful time. This will eventually pass, and once this is all over, we will have a new appreciation of our once daily life we all thought was “the norm.” We need to be grateful for what we still have now, and to keep the positivity going so that we can endure this.
It is hard to say when I will be taking bookings again which is deeply saddening, however once more information is known and it is safe to do so, I will be sure to update you. Stay on my page as there will be other content I can create! In the meantime, please stay safe, look after each other and let’s all work towards the recovery. This means washing our hands, limiting the distance, and only going out for necessities. Sending love to you all, and remember it’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you soon ❤️

Throwback to one of my all time favourite cut crease looks, a cherry pink blossom inspired makeup. I hope everyone is staying safe this weekend. Remember to reach out to someone vulnerable, practice social distancing, support your local businesses and most importantly keep washing your hands! 🧼 We are all in this together. 💕

There is a lot to be said about dressing up the eyes for any event. It really does come down to pigments, textures and application. Your eye wardrobe beauty breakdown below:
Eye primer: This will create a base for your eye shadow, where the pigments appear stronger and last longer for a better result. It will also help you to blend better and easier. Worth the prep! My top pick at the moment is eye lid primer
Eye shadow: Not only does eye shadow add colour to the eye lid, but finding a colour that reflects your pupil will make all the difference to give that pop to your eye look. For example, any neutral/brown/plum shade will make a lighter eye really stand out as it will reflect and brighten the eye should you go natural or smoky. I also like to add the same shadow with a small brush on the bottom lash line, to add a subtle smoky effect, without having to use heavy eyeliner. My fav palette at the moment is dream queen palette and the brush I use to shade in shadow on the bottom lash line is M431
Eye liner: This will add definition to your eyes whether you use gel, pencil or liquid. Pencil will always be more natural, gel and liquid eye liner will be more pigmented. If you are nervous, try pencil first, then trace over with gel or liquid to practice your precision! Top liner will always extend the natural top lash line and pairs beautifully with strip or individual lashes. My fav liquid liner is black ink liner and gel liner black gel 77
Mascara: This completes your look with intensity and fullness. You can never finish an eye look without mascara, it’s the finishing touch to your eye wardrobe! My top picks are better than and overcurl mascara
Strip/Individual lashes: Instantly creates more glamour and gives an extra layer of intensity on the eyes. Lashes are great for any events, eg formals, parties, weddings and photo shoots as they photograph beautifully. There are so many styles for different looks from very natural to full glam. My fav lashes are the remy strip lash for a soft glam makeup 💋
